I just ready your story. Roma cute and interesting ya erinthu. There is no more words to express my feelings how much i enjoyed your story. Amman decorations are cute and KR prayers to amman are very cutely narrated. I liked it a lot. In villages amman thiruvizha - there will be small petty shops to shop around- is there funny part like that in your story...

Chapter 79

Ashvin briefly tells Susan how he met Raji and the things followed...
Then both start talking casually...
They have breakfast on the way and on reaching Madurai... Ashvin calls his dad and takes directions and reaches Kovilpatti...

Raji is arranging the 'Pongal koodai' and her athai helps her...People from temple come with a palanquin. Raji's aachi does the aarathi and everyone seek blessings of the amman... As everyone gathers in the muttram, Ashvin and Susan enter.
Raji was the first to react...

Raji: Vaanga Susan... Vaanga Ashvin...
Susan: Hi Raji... romba late aayiduchaa?
Raji: illa correct aah vandhitteenga...
She takes them to the corner of the muttram and gives water. Both of them wash their hands, legs and face and wipe the wet off with the towels Raji gave...
Lakshmi: ennna Boss? rendu PM um serndhu vandirukkeenga...
Susan: thaniyaa thaan kilambinen... Mel maruvathur thaandinadhum car ninnuduchi...
Vishnu: ayyayyo... appuram ?
Susan: antha pakkamaa vantha Ashvin kitta lift vaangittu vandhutten...
Raji introduces Susan as her boss to her family...
Ashvin introduces everyone to his family...
Ashvin: idhu varaikkum ivanga naalu perum Susan team... ippo... Karthik ennoda team...Lakshmi, Raji, Vishnu moonu perum Susan oda team...
R-aachi: thambi... neenga rendu perum amman ah namaskaaram pannittu vaanga... appuram saavagaasamaa pesikkalaam... kovil la irundhu amman eduthittu poga pallakku vandhaachu...
Ashvin and Susan go to the poojai room and come back...

People from the temple come inside and take the amman , place it in the palanquin and head towards the temple.

Ashvin and Susan have breakfast...
Everyone starts to the temple...

Raji's aachi calls her and Raji falls on her feet and as she raises, her aachi keeps the Pongal Koodai in her hands on Raji's head...
As Raji moves... Vishnu stops and takes a snap on his phone...
Lakshmi: hey enna daa panre?
Vishnu: Raji oda intha photo FB la update pannanum...
Raji: Vishnu...
Vishnu: caption enna theriyumaa?
Lakshmi: enna?
Vishnu: Silly... Village girl...
Raji: venaa Vishnu... vilaiyaadatheenga...
Lakshmi: enna Karthik? silent aah irukke?
Karthik: enna pannanum?
Lakshmi: Vishnu Rajiya eppadi Kalaaichittu irukkaan...
Karthik: chummaa fun dhaane...
Raji: adappaavi...
Karthik: enna? vilaiyaatta dhane solraan...
Raji: FB la ellaam podaporen nu solraare...
Karthik: adhellaam podamaattaan...
Raji: adheppadi nee solra?
Karthik: FB la pottaa ... en kitta dharma adi vaanganum nu avanukku theriyum... free yaa vidu...
Raji: (smiles) appo sari...

All of them walk towards the fields divided in groups... after a 10 min walk... residential area ends and lush green fields swap the hearts of everyone...

There is a 'othai adi paadhai' in between the fields and everone walks through it.
Raji with the basket on her head walks casually as she is used to it since years...
Lakshmi trembles as she finds difficult to manage the pattu pudavai and walking without footwear... Vishnu holds her hand and gives support... Lakshmi holds his hand tightly and walks behind him...
Susan steps on a stone and holds Karthik's hand to avoid falling...
Karthik smiles and holds her hand and leads her...

Till the there were only paddy fields and taking a right turn... there were large trees on the left and lushy paddy on the right...

Lakshmi: innum evvalo dhooram?
Raji: innum konja dhooram dhaan...
Vishnu: kannukku ettina dhooram varaikkum kovilaiye kaanome?
Raji: neraa partha kovil irukkaadhu...
Vishnu: en?
Raji: ennaa kovil right la irukku... innum konjam munnadi poyittu right la thirumbanum...
A few minutes later they turn right...
Raji: ippo paarunga... kovil theriyudhaa?
Lakshmi: WOW... super aah irukku Raji...

Everyone walks towards the temple...
Fifteen minutes later, they reach the temple...
Inside the temple premises... a row of mud stoves are arranged and all the ladies start making pongal...

Lakshmi and Susan also join Raji...
Ashvin mingles well with Karthik and Vishnu...
Half an hour later... pongal is almost done...

Finishing pongal... poojai starts at the temple and the pongal is offered to amman and everyone prays for the wellbeing of all and healthy growing of crops... and return home...

Lunch is served in batches... and an hour later... finishing lunch , all are assembled in the muttram...

Ashvin's dad calls him in front of everyone...
A-dad: Ashvin...
Ashvin: enna paa?
A-dad: naan en friend ku enna badhil sollattum...
Ashvin: Raji ya kalyaanam panradhu pathi ... un mudivu innaikku solren nu sonniye...
Everone looks eagerly at Ashvin...
Tension prevails on Karthik and Raji's faces...

Chapter 80... on Thursday...
