CHAPTER : 6 :
SPLASH
- someone fell in the pool. "NOOO" - 2 people yelled out simultaneously. The 2 people in question were ... 1) Rachel , when Manyata charged at her and Ranjana ... eventually taking Ranjana into the water with her! And the Second was Udita - when her plan of going to the water, was thwarted by her own father. When Uday saw Udita nearing the pool - he halted the announcement he was making, and bent down to pick her up.
Manyata had caused a major chaos, when she "attacked" Ranjana. All the ladies, were running hither-tither and the media was going wild in clicking photos. Unnati and Jai immediately took charge of the situation and escorted everyone out ... and had to use force, in pushing the journo's out!
He's my husband - you b*tch! Mine, mine, mine - Uday is only mine! I'm not letting u take him away - you got that , Manyata screamed as she held Ranjana's head, below the water. Uday was dealing with his kicking-&-screaming daughter and couldn't go to help Ranjana. Luckily Vijay Bhai recovered from his earlier "run" , and came to lighten Uday's hands.
Dada - you're just standing here? Go on - get Bhabhisa out of there, before she kills Ranjana , Unnati urged her brother ... who was only standing and watching 2 LADIES SUPPOSSEDLY FIGHTING FOR HIM! Did u see Jiji - she was like a bull in full pursuit, Jai remarked. Yeah - I think it was Ranju's red-bikini that attracted her, Uday chuckled.
Unnati and Jai winked at each other, before pushing Uday in the pool. Rachel, who was in the pool trying to help Ranjana , was grateful; when she saw Uday pull Manyata off her lover. Yep, Ranjana was a lesbian and Rachel was her partner ... it was Rachel that was going to go down on 1 knee and propose - but Manyata ruined the special moment; when she assumed Uday to be asking the very important question. Leave me Uday ... I'm gonna murder her tonight , Manyata yelled as Uday got her out of the water. Ranjana gasped in trying to catch her breath - once out of the pool. Your wife is crazy Uday , Rachel fumed. YOU are crazy ... u think u can have a 3'some with MY HUSBAND AND I'M JUST GONNA BE QUIET - u got another thing coming! , Manyata tightly grasped Rachel's hair and was pulling at it with all her might.
That's enough! , Uday shouted and everyone went silent. He then carried his wife off as Unnati and Jai attended to Ranjana and Rachel. What 3'some was she talking about? , Rachel asked and Jai and Unnati shrugged their shoulders.
Put me down UdayVeer ,Manyata kicked , scratched and even bit him. Ouch! I'll do it again if u don't put me down , she threatened. As soon as Uday obeyed, Manyata darted towards the door - now I'm gonna throw those 2 Tarts out of MY HOUSE! Suddenly, she turned around to face Uday : After I sort them out ... YOU'RE NEXT! Uday's smirk unexpectedly appeared ... I think my Princess is back!
What's that smirk for? Don't think I'm letting u off scot-free. I know what u were doing BEHIND my back and in FRONT OF MY BACK ... you're gonna pay for all your sins UdayVeer , she pointed her finger at him ... which he bit! OUCH! What the Hell? It's called payback Princess ... U bit me ; then I bite you ... Uday had Manyata cornered.

KNOCK , KNOCK ... instead of actually knocking, Jai said the words; opened the door and entered. Oops - sorry ... am I interrupting? , she asked Manveer. YES - YOU ARE! , Manyata shouted but Uday over-rided her: No Jai - not interrupting. What can I do for you? Something needs u immediately! , Jai made signs with her eyes for Uday; but was completely unreadable to Manyata.
Manyata caught Uday's arm : You're not going anywhere! , she commanded ; but in a breaking tone. He immediately understood her fear and reassured her: I'll be back Princess - just give me 5 minutes. Manyata nodded unconvincingly . Uday gently cupped her face and kissed her fore-head : I promise!
In the mean-time Princess ... why don't u take a shower; it'll warm u up, Uday said just before leaving with Jai. Manyata obeyed as she felt it to be a good idea. She felt different today ... from the time she entered that pool - something changed; but she did not know what!
Jai led Uday to Udita. The child was not a happy camper. She always got what she wanted - but today, things didn't go her way! The girl sat on the bed with her arms folded across her chest ... giving Unnati and Vijay , angry glares. Doesn't she remind u of Manyata Bhai , Vijay nudged Unnati; who gave him a back-handed smack on his arm.
Hi Sweet-heart , Uday sat next to his daughter ... but she moved away. Today she decided ... she's not going to talk to her Paapa again - EVER AGAIN! I'm sorry Pari , Uday held his ears and apologised ... but it didn't work. How can Paapa make Pari talk and smile again? You can ask for anything u want ... but no going into the pool! Udita smiled and made a deal with her father. Bye Dada - it's late ... we'll be leaving , Unnati and Vijay left.
Manyata came out of the shower, expecting Uday to be in the room ... afterall he did promise that he'd be back in 5 minutes; but there was no sign of him. I wonder if he's with those w*ores , the thought crossed her mind. She decided to look for him - HERSELF! And when she'd find him ... GOD HELP HIM! Ud ... Manyata called for Uday; but stopped mid-way, when she saw that he was still with Jai and both were walking towards 1 of the rooms in the new wing.

Yeah Baby ... oh yeah ... again; do it again! Go higher Baby. HIGHER ... you can do it! More , more ... Oh God; yeah. Ya , Mmm , Mmm , Ya , Yeah ... YES! YES! , Jai yelled out her satisfied moans. Tears rolled down Manyata's face as she stood outside the closed door; to the room , where all the action was taking place. She had seen Uday and Jai go into that particular room , when she followed them... so there was no chance that Jai was with Jagat, instead of Uday! NO MORE! , she decided and opened the door to the most horrific sight.
"HORRIFIC" - it definitely was! The comforter from the bed was on the floor ... so were the 2 pillows. The bed-sheet and night-frill , had become undone. Jai was on her back on the bed, gasping and giggling at the same time, and on top of her was ...
Maasi - more times! , Udita was on top of Jai, but urging her to get up - so that both of them could jump on the bed again! THAT was the deal, little Udita made with her father; in order for her to talk to him again. She wanted to jump on the bed in "BOYYA'S" room!
Mamma - cum jump! Udita invited her mother when she saw her ... but Manyata was frozen to the spot. She was in a state of shock - this was the first time, she ever entered this room. Sure - she knew the room was Virat's ... but she never had the courage to open the door and look inside. Tonight, she stumbled inside, when paranoia got the better of her ... and she mistook Jai's cheering for Udita ; to be something else!
Princess , Uday called to Manyata and slowly she looked at him : Virat's room? Just as Uday nodded in reply ... Manyata burst into tears. Come Baby - let's go jump somewhere else , Jai took Udita away, leaving Manveer. Uday held Manyata close to his chest as she relived Virat's death ; and grieved over his memory.
Uday had destroyed everything in Virat's room when Manyata miscarried ... but when he came to know of Manyata's condition - he restored it to how it should be. Perhaps - Manyata could get the closure she needed from here!
And as usual , Uday was right! Manyata finally felt the PEACE that was evading her all these months. I think he would've been crawling now , Manyata laughed as she imagined a Baby on all 4's on the floor. All night long , Manyata remained in Uday's arms whilst in bed - talking about all the "could have", "would have" and "should haves" ... till eventually both fell off to sleep.

Good-morning Princesses , Uday kissed Udita, but as he was going to kiss his wife; she moved away. He watched patiently, as Manyata fed the Baby her cereal; then asked : Where are the servants? I gave them the day off! Then who will make me break-fast? Manyata glared at him in relpy - and Uday understood that his "punishment" had officially begun.
Princess - I was thinking ... it's such a nice day today, let's go to the zoo. Keen on seeing YOUR FAMILY , huh Uday? , Manyata smirked. Uday laughed along before replying : Yeah - it's been a while since I saw the in-laws . Manyata did not have a come-back reply!
Come on Princess - what have I done to deserve this coldness from you? Like u don't know. I don't , please tell me. Let's see : You don't want a divorce ... yet u want us to lead separate lives; you don't want us to keep a cat ... yet u want us to have a dog ; You were roaming all around London with your girlfriend ; You bring her to stay in our house; We made love ... and u called it S*X; You were rude to my friend Arnav ... but I must be cordial with all your bimbo's; You had a 3'some under MY ROOF ; you were giving the media TOO MUCH DIRT TO SPLATTER and you are STILL my HUSBAND ... yet u were going to propose to Ranjana! Uday had his arms crossed over his chest, whilst he smirked; listening to his wife's "complaint list" ... but had to take cover fast when a vase was coming at him in high velocity. And lastly - u said you'd be back in 5 minutes last night ... what the Hell took u so long?
Paapa - cally me! , Udita came at the perfect time and asked to be carried. Uday took her in his arms - and , whilst talking to the Baby; he attempted to answer a few of Manyata's queries. Sweety-Pie ... didn't u tell Mamma what you've been up to? Why did u tell her that u were going to dive into the pool ... but Paapa caught u in time! If u told Mamma, then she'd know that Paapa bent down for you; and NOT TO PROPOSE TO RANJANA AUNTY! And why didn't u tell Mamma - that we both were busy making a deal ... that's why I couldn't return in 5 minutes! Manyata listened carefully as Uday explained everything indirectly. And we HAVE TO keep the dog now - as that's your KAAKASAHIB! Manyata pursed her lips together and stared at the floor ... he wasn't supposed to know that! Ummm , what else? Oh ya - Arnav touched PAAPA'S TOY ... therefore Paapa was rude to him. By now , Manyata was blushing hard. Tell Mamma - that she's the only woman for me ... no-one else could even match up! Udita covered her mouth as she yawned - once again ; her father was boring her. She wiggled her body, showing that she wanted to be put down and as soon as Uday left her ... she ran off!
It was suddenly time for Uday to tell Manyata about her depression and the "act" he was told to do; in order to make her better again. Manyata - there was NO 3'some ... there was NO AFFAIR. Manyata didn't react. Princess - when I had amnesia ... I couldn't cheat on you; there is NO CHANCE OF ME DOING IT NOW! Yep - he had a point there! You deceived me? I had to. Why would u do something like that? You were sick ... we thought doing this drama would make u better again. Sick? What sick? Don't talk rubbish Uday ... do I look sick to you?

Urgghh - I feel terrible ... Jai wandered into the same room where Manveer were, interrupting them. She had stayed the night with them ... but spent all morning in the bathroom - throwing up! Manyata got all worried about her sister and sat beside her, rubbing her back. You'll be fine Jai.
No Jiji ... it's my second month - I got 7 more months to go! , Jai complained - but by then, Manyata had already disappeared from the room.
