well in my opinion I think he never loved madhu...I think he was playing all along to avenge his father's death...he hired her , made her feel that he is such a nice person , & encourage her love for him only to ditch her , just like how RK did it in MB1...only difference is that RK rectified his mistakes & got madhu back & AK will never get her as she will be someone else's wife & later she will fall in love with RK & will get over from her silly childhood crush for a superstar...😃
