She was not looking at anyone when she was giving her testimony , except him. Her words were not for the CO , not for the media and cameras, they were only for him. Her eyes sought only him. Her remorse, gratitude, confession and warmth were only for him. For her, the only man present in the room was him. Why not? He was her saviour and he had kept her alive and breathing. All Paro could think of was Rudra and his fortress in her life.
He was looking only at her when she was speaking , but her innocence and warmth were no longer reaching his eyes. He was hearing her words in his defense, but the sentiment was not reflecting in his eyes. He could see that she was wiping the blot on his name , his uniform , but his eyes were no longer melting on her sight. He could see that she was alive but his eyes no longer asked her "Theek Ho?". All Rudra could think of was his suffering father and how Paro had 'tried' to snatch him away from his life.
Till yesterday her eyes held accusation , blame and demand for explanation while his pleaded and cried.
Today, her eyes hold pleading and innocence while his eyes hold accusation, backstab and punishment.
Waqt kaise sar ke bal ultaa ho jaata hai na?
Kal tak Paro kehti thi- "Saabit karke dikhaao" aur Rudra kehta tha "Yakeen kar meraa."
Abb Rudra kehta hai -" Saabit karke dikhaa" aur Paro kehti hai -" Yakeen karo meraa."
Paro ke naina makhmal aur Rudra ke naina haal-behaal.
Yes, yes, tell me that " how can Rudra even think that Paro can do this?" Why not? If Paro could think, believe and execute that Rudra is an enemy inspite of him saving her so many times, rules of fallibility are no different for Rudra. And never forget, your parents are your most sensitive spot . Unke khilaaf koi jaaye, usi baat par talwaaarein nikal aati hainn, so to expect logic and objective view from a son whose father is in a precarious situation is like trying to find superlative perfection. And no, darlings, it doesn't happen in the real world.
Agar Paro keh saktee hai ki saabit karo, toh Rudra bhi keh sakta hai ki saabit karo.
After all, its a relationship of EQUALS.
