The handsome Karan Mehra is an Indian television actor. He was last seen in the show "Amrit Manthan", on Life OK. In this daily soap, he played a negitive role as Yug. He was also seen in a negative role in Sony TV's "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain". He is gradually coming towards his success track and even reaches the peak. He has done various commercial ads. Karan debuted with the show Saath Rahega Always. Apart from that he has also done shows like Shanno Ki Shaadi, Sati-Satya Ki Shakti, Betiyaan Apni Ya Paraya Dhan, Amrit Manthan, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and many more. Currently, he is seen in the daily soap Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV. Karan is a married man in real life. His wife is very supportive and understanding.

Karan Mehra, who was last seen in a negitive character Yug in the daily serial "Amrit Manthan" on Life OK. He was seen as a male antagonist and Amrit's former bestfriend and lover, Natasha Oberoi's widow. It is the story of two sisters who become each other's enemies. At first, it was about the bond between two sisters, Nimrit and Amrit. Now, it shows the bond between another pair of sisters, Gurbani and Jyoti. Karan played the role of Bhanu, Vikram's (Jai Kalra) younger brother. He was showcased as the love interest of Natasha(Sumona Chakravarti). The entire family gets fond of Bhanu and eventually be happy to have him be a part of the family except Priya. Finally Priya finds out that Bhanu wanted to marry Natasha only for her money and soon Bhanu confesses his mistake and thrown out of Ram's house.

Karan Mehra is playing the male lead as Naren opposite Ankita Lokhande in the show. He said, "It's a privilege to be a part of this iconic show on television. Five years and still being one of the most popular shows on TV is no small feat. To play this role is tough and audience appreciation is what helps me play it well. My co-actors in the show are all wonderful actors and I share a good rapport with all. Truly, I'm proud of acting in this show. He adds, "The show is all set for a major high-point with Ankita tying the knot with Naren ... the wedding is a marriage of compromise for Ankita who is marrying her boss with a mental ailment, putting her own personal happiness aside. Just like Archana, Ankita also stands for self-sacrifice and putting other's needs in front of her own.

Karan Mehra has bagged an important role in Ekta Kapoor's movie Ragini MMS 2. He got the role six months ago before Pavitra Rishta happened. He gave audition for this role and the director loved his work. He will be seen in the entire movie but in bits and parts.

He is playing the role of a television actor in the movie alongwith Sunny Leone. He said, "Initially I thought it will be a normal make-out scene but later I got to know it will be a proper shower sequence where I had to kiss Sunny. It was my first on-screen kiss and I was very nervous. But all thanks to Sunny, she made it very simple for me.".
