Three sisters, Bani, Rano and Pia, after the death of their father and mother face financial bankruptcy, emotional vacancy and a future of abysmal uncertainties. They are forced to leave the town and go and live with Jai Walia, their mother's old friend and confidant, and a millionaire with an industrial empire of proverbial extent. Pia is quickly engaged to Jai. Pia is the second youngest of the three sisters and decides to run away from the marriage. On the day of the wedding, she runs away to be with Pushkar, and Bani iws forced to sit in on the wedding in place of Pia. During he wedding ceremony, when Jai realizes it isnt Pia, he is furious but proceeds with the wedding with the intention that he will take his revenge on Pia by marrying Bani, and making Bani's life a living hell. Jai is a much older man and thus, she calls him Mr Walia.

Mr Walia's sister is Jigyasa. Jigyasa, a confident woman who dares to be different, is having troubles with her husband Aditya. They have 2 sons, Sahil and Ranvir and one daughter, Anu. Jigyasa is also very arrogant and thus dislikes the fact that three poor girls are living in the Walia Mansion and decides to be evil to them. Ranvir dislikes the girls as well and so joins his mother.

Shortly after Bani's marriage to Jai, Pia marries a man she loves, Pushkar. Pushkar and Pia live happily for a while but soon start to encounter problems. Pia finds out shes pregnant and has an abortion without letting Pushkar know she was pregnant in the first place. Pushkar and Pia argue and Pia goes back to the Walia Mansion. The elders and Jai forgive her, and she lives in the house.

Rano, in the mean time, is married to Sahil; while Ranvir is married to Rashi and Anu is married off as well.

Slowly clues are leading to a mystery that Mr Walia is hiding from Bani, and as they grow closer together, the clues seem to be coming together as well. On the night of Raashi and Ranvir, Sahil and Rano, and Anu and Rohits weddings, Bani finds out that Mr Walia had accidently killed the sisters' mother in a car accident and had been hiding it this whole time. She soon discovers she is pregnant, and runs away from the Walia Mansion. Then she finds out Jigyasa and Ranvir decide that she wants Jai's money for herself. Bani overhears this plan and decides that she must get the money herself and save it from Jigyasa's clutches, despite what happened to her mother. To do this, she decides that she must divorce Jai and request for half of the property from the court. And so Bani undertakes this plan and starts being mean. The house is shocked by her sudden change in behaviour.

Bani's baby is killed when she tries to protect Jai from a hitman who tries to kill him. Jigyasa bribes a nurse to tell Jai that Bani aborted the baby herself. The nurse does just this and Jai is very angry with Bani and gives her everything she wants.

Pia, who is also Jai's personal assisstant, follows Jai on a business trip to Dubai. In Dubai, she slowly starts to fall in love with him and they sleep together one night, while Jai was intoxicatred. Bani later travels to Dubai in search of her husband, when she realizes that the accident that killed her mother was actually a suicide attempt that was successful by her mother, and she finds out that Jigyasa and Ranvir are unable to steal all of Jai Walia's property ahd money and she tells Jai why she was acting mean and evil and the couple reunite; however their reunion is tainting wwith the night that he spent with Pia, although he regrets it greatly.

After they return to Mumbai, Jai and Bani are happily together, although Jai has a great amount of guilt due to what happened with Pia, and Pia keeps throwing herself at Jai trying win his love. She soon discovers shes pregnant, and begins to blackmail Jai Walia with the child threatening that he has to accept this child because it is their's, therefore he has to accept her into his life.

Jai is torn in choosing between his wife and his child, but can not bear to be with Pia as he does not love her.

Pia's husband Pushkar is also unaware of this development. Pushkar is Jai's protege, and because both Jai and Pushkar were in love with Pia, but Pia ran away with Pushkar on the night she was supposed to get married to Jai, Bani got married to Jai instead. Pushkar had come with Bani to Dubai on Karva Chauth night and also ends up spending a night with Pia, in which if they slept together or not is still not clear. As of Dec 14th, Pushkar has found out Pia has slept with Jai as a CD of the night they've spent together was sent to Bani but landed up with Puskar.

Pia and Jai, on Bani's birthday, embrace each other and Pia talks about how the child in her womb is that of Jai's and not Pushkar's. Rano overhears this and is devastated. She decides to tell her sister Bani everything and does so, only leaving out the fact that Pia is the other woman in Jai's life. Bani is shocked but decides to confront Mr Walia.

Bani questions Jai Walia, Jai Walia admits and tells Bani it is the biggest mistake of his life. As Jai walia is about say Pia's name, Rano comes in and tells him to stop the joke. Rano tells Bani that it was prank played on her. Bani gets furious and slaps Rano. Bani tells Jai Walia ,he nearly had lost her due to this prank. Rano calls up Pia and blasts her for doing such a demeaning act. Rano warns Pia against coming back to the house and breaks down. Jai Walia asks Sahil if he has seen rano. Sahil cunningly blackmails Jai Walia that he should return the German project back to Sahil as Jai walia too has commited a serious mistake against Bani. Sahil tells Jai Walia, Rano remained silent because of him. Jai Walia meets Rano at the garden. Rano blasts Jai Walia about how could he ever think of doing such an act. She has lost all respect for him now.Rano continues her tirade, Jai walia tells Rano to stop and how he has been unable to live with the truth. How he was broken down and commited a mistake, and how he has fallen in his own eyes.Jai Walia fears losing Bani.Rano tells him for his msitake, Jai Walia will repent all his life and all the time he will lead a dual life of being good and the worry about Bani finding out the truth. Jai Walia reflects on Bani.

Bani reflects on Rano's words. A phone call comes stating private number, Bani is unable to understand who is trying to call Jai Walia. Bani wants Jai Walia to swear on her, Jai walia hugs her, promises to himself there will b no one between them. Bani sees a dress and gets worried, Jai Walia tells her not to worry. Bani too questions Jai Walia whether he likes someone else ? Bano stumbles across a phone bill in Jai Walia's dress. She tries to find out whose number this is. A pandit comes to the house and advises on the relationship between husband and wife. Bani reflects on pandit's words and finds out that the private number has been disconnected. An anonymous person sends the CD of Jai and Pia in Dubai to Bani.

Bani gets ready for going out for dinner, wears the western dress.Bani meets Jai Walia, have dinner together. Bani remarks on how it is important to have good choice in life with several options available. Bani doubts Jai Walia being overnice to her and she awaits the mystery caller and the evidence.

Jai and Bani at the dinner, Bani keeps doubting him and askin him questions. She also gets a call sayin her doubts would be put to rest tonight. Jai also gets a call from Pia asking him to not miss her much. bani shudders at the thought of what would happen if her doubts are true. just then she gets a call from the helpline saying that the private number has been booked by jai walia. As they are leavin for the evening, soeone gives bani a cd meant for her.jai asks her in the car that what has happend to her mood and what is she thinking. As they reach home, pushkar is waiting for them at home to talk to mr walia. bani goes inside to see the cd, just then dadi calls her to get water. pushkar and jai chat about bani. pushkar gives walia the gift that he had bought for bani and kept it in his custody. the phone rings, pushkar picks it up, its a blank call. pushkar sees the cd and gets it to jai walia and asks him what is this cd? jai does not know and decides to play it.bani tries to stop him saying it is a blank cd, but the film koi aap sa is played on the cd. bani, jai and pushkar continue chatting, while jai & piya's cd starts playing, all of them being unaware of it. the clipping ends and the film begins again. pushkar gets up to leave, jai gives him the cd to entertain him at home while piya's away. pushkar comes home and begins drinking again with piya's pic in front of him. he decides to play the cd as he is missing piya. jai walia gifts bani the ring he had got her her. bani asks him when did he get it for her, and upon knowing he got it on her birthday, she is shocked. She remembers the day at the jewellers with rano when the necklace she had liked had been booked by Mr. Walia. Pushkar sees the CD of Jai and Pia, and breaks down. He breaks his television and burns his bed, along with Pia's picture. He screams "MR WALIA!"

After that pushkar runs to mr walia's house. Bani gets a call from the guy that is telling her bout mr walia having an affair. She runs to puskkars house to get the CD back buh sees it up in flames. Meanwhile puskkar beats up mr walia and then runs off. The guy that is telling bani bout mr walia having an affair sends his henchmen after puskar. They beat him up and at the end the henchmen gets on the phone and says "you job is done mr walia" to make puskar think mr walia did it. The bani and jai go to the hospital and pushkar only wants to see bani. Bani comes out of the room saying mr walia i have to go to puskkars and see that DVD. They go and take the DVD and watch it and its a tape of puskar and pia. Rano got ther first and switched it. Then Bani thinks puskar is so in love with pia that he would hurt himself. Later on Jigyasa gets a call about pushkars accident and Raashi asks who was it? Jigyasa tell her about puskar and Raashi says lets go hes family. Jigyasa says then "O, so now you will tell me about family" and she screams and then Ranvir and Adyita show up. Ranivr scolds his mom and protects Raashi. Then jigyasa says "why did he yell at me! I never changed after marrage!" Aditya then goes on to say "that is praobably why even when we lived togheter we could not be one.

Rano talks to mr walia and says you cant punish my sister for your bad deads. Mr Walia says he doesnt care anymore that he cant live in the guilt anymore. Buh rano says he will hav too that is his punishment for what he has done. Mr walia walks awaya nd over hears Jigyasa and Sahil hatching planns to blackmail mr walia. Mr walia slaps Sahil and says go and tell Bani. She is the only one who has the right to punish me. You tell and i will throw you out of the house. They get scared

Part 3

Bani knws the truth and Jai gets kicked out the house for about 4 epis...

Everyone is supportive of JB separation...

Later on we come to knw Pia drugged Jai into sleepin with her...

we have Bani forgivin jai.. [u knw wat its like]

then Bani becomes preggers.. but there is this whole storyline on a burkha person following Bani...

wen bani unveils the person it turns out to be jai..

then we find out that Jai was blackmailed by Karuna/Pia/Jigs into makin Bani 'mental'

Pia has a CD where Sahil says that Bani is the one hu killed him, so Jai sees this thanks to Pia and Pia tells him to either make bani mental so she gets 5 yrs in jail.. or leave it as it is and Bani along with her children get life imprisonment

Jai opts with option 1 and proves Bani mental

Bani suffers alot in the mental house, she gives birth to twins there too.. But Jai takes the kids away from her in a rude manner

Bani runs away from the mental home and lands in the Walia mansion... there she sees Jai and Pia gettin married.. but doesnt see these women come to stop the weddin as Jai is already married.. so in her mind she thinks hes married to her sister...

she goes in the mine feild as shes disturbed by her thoughts and doesnt realise that there are bombs planted around the area for some construction work...

She goes there.. bombs blast and Bani is feared dead..

Jai hears that Bani is dead and begs God to send someone to save Bani..

at that point Aprajit Deb [AD] cums to resuce Bani like hes batman!

AD takes Bani away and Bani recalls all the moments she thinks her family decieved her...

AD takes her away to london for 5 years as by indian laws Bani will be announced dead..

5 years on.. Rano is lukin after the kids and Jai is sufferein day by day...

Bani comes bk as Durga das gupta and wants to seek revenge for those who had wronged her in her eyes..

So easy to see where it started to plummet from its days of glory into the abyss of hell. That damn PR Raaz was the beginning and the ONS was the end 😕 because it hasn't recovered since despite the weak, lame, illogical useless leap.
