Sussanne Roshan was once in the limelight for being the wife of superstar Hrithik Roshan. Thirteen years and two kids later Sussanne is trying to carve her own niche in the world.

Sussanne, who is in Dubai for the marketing of her mega project 'Naira' spoke to Gulf News about her dream project and her high profile separation with Hrithik Roshan.

"Naira has been put together with a lot of excitement and passion... My design company, The Charcoal Project, has taken on its interior design concepts and it will raise the bar of interior concept designs. I have put together a dream design team," she said.

About her separation with Hrithik she said, "You know how you are as a person. The scrutiny that you are talking about doesn't matter. Eventually you know your own truth. So you just have to keep going. Sometimes you have a great relationship with the person who was there in your life like my relationship with Hrithik, but it is just that two people sometimes don't work out. That's how life goes. And that doesn't mean that you can't move on. I am on a creative mode and I am working very hard. I love what I do and I am very thankful for whatever God has blessed me with and I have immense gratitude for that. I am at a stage where I feel appreciative and grateful for what I have today."

Talking of her BFF Gauri Khan who will also be a part of her team, Sussanne said, "Gauri is a very dear friend of mine for many years... She has a strong aesthetic value and is an extremely stylish person. So it would be an added benefit to all of us involved. She will look after the "artefact installation and curation" in the homes."

Her opening up was the whole problem . If she has kept her legs closed to rampal they would have been fine .

Good for her. Just stay away from drugs and keep other junkies in the family away from kids. Let them have a good childhood.

this woman is talking at all RIGHT times, who would write an article about her store otherwise, she is using this divorce the right way and talking only when it's beneficial to her.

right upto after his 'affair' with barbara

if she gave up on him, must be some solid reason

and more power to her...she is like one of those

hollywood movie characters, a wife who leaves

the comfort zone of a earning husband who

cant be faithful, and steps out into the world to

reclaim her own sense of identity. i salute her.

she's not all talk, no action. she has actually

dumped a cheating hubby and forged ahead.

I don't blame either but I doubt they divorced because of an affair.

1. The Barbara and Hrithik affair was supposedly planted by Hrithiks dad. To help create hype for the movie KITES.

2. Suzanne and Arjun I don't think had an affair however something occured with buying drugs at his nightclub. Most likely that is where she found dealers.

3. I don't think they broke up because of these supposed affairs.it is because of Suzanne's drug addiction. The amounts she was buying was enough to deal and distribute herself.

Do you guys know she was being investigated by police and the drugs unit. If she did or does get court she will be facing Jail.

That's worse than having flings. I hope she gets rehabilitated.

Yes that's enough to end a marriage because drugs being around children is more dangerous than parents who have had flings.

Damn...it's sad whenever a couple breaks up. I think the hardest part with long term relationships is the feeling of loss when you think of the amount of time and emotions you invested into the relationship.

My friend sent me this video recently, it was really cool. Kinda like an open word thingie on "love"

I think the part I liked the best was, "When love arrives, say 'welcome, come in.' and when love leaves, ask him to exit from the back door, but leave it open, and say, 'thank you for coming'"

I definitely blame both of them for failing their relationship, and to keep the vow they took together.
When relationships comes to an end, especially long relationships the cause can never be one person alone. Both must have done their share of mistakes whatever they may have been. No married man has the right to dick down other women except for their wives and noo married woman should open their legs for anyone but their spouse.
Saying all that, I do hope for Sussanne to overcome whatever substance abuse issue she may or may not have. Substance abuse is never cool, and especially not when you have two young children. It's sad that substance abuse runs in her side of the family though, the Khan family loves the fast, high life. Not saying her substance abuse was the reason for their split because I believe it was an accumulation of many factors rather than just one.
