| Javed had already expressed his objection when Ila screamed at Arijit for voting Monica in and letting down Shamit. Javed felt that the faculty too had a chance to save Shamit but opted to play 'God' and save Sandeep! Both Ila and Arijit are finding it tough to defend their action. Arijit had a call from home and his father was very concerned about his health. More than that they were concerned about the image Arijit is building for himself. People back home are seeing Arijit's move of voting out Shamit as totally villainous. Even in the Gurukul there is a discussion once again as to who is the real politician. When Kirti was voted out then Shamit had been held responsible. Rex was heard saying that even Arijit can be seen in the same light. Arpita, who believes in giving everybody fair chance, said that even when Kirti was voted out Arijit had voted for Gurpreet, saying that she should be given a chance. But now, the real question is -- Is Arijit the real politician? More than a politician, Javed said that Arijit is a totally selfish and an ambitious person, who has no regard for relationships in his climb towards success. This is what Ila wanted to change. As a true teacher, she feels that her responsibility is not limited to imparting musical training. She meets Arijit in her room. He was in tears and was desperate to get back into Ila's good books. "Tum sureley ho per tumhe jindagi mei bhi sureela bana chahiya," was Ila's advice to Arijit. She wanted to know if Arijit had any respect for relationships. He had not only voted out a very good singer but also his best friend. Ila gave Arijit a CD of Shamit's interview to show him what Shamit thought of his relationship with Arijit. Shamit still sees Arijit as his dearest friend, the latter has professed to take care of Shamit and has declared this on camera. Budding friendship Arijit and Monica seem to be getting on like a house on fire. Monica is not only ready to share his grief but also help him out. When Arijit realizes that the cameras would catch Monica cut fruits for him, he quickly takes over. He also wanted her to sit as far as possible from him. Arijit had told us that he has a girlfriend back home. Are things changing here too? Budding Rivalry As Arijit and Monica's friendship develops, Gurukul is seeing a new rivalry! Ruprekha thinks that Arpita is jealous of her because she has out performed her and has become the top student thrice. Arpita feels that Ruprekha is just plain lucky. Arpita feels that whenever she has performed well the faculty has always had different reasons for selecting the top student. And, it is never based on the Gala's performance due to which she loses out. Is the faculty unfair towards Arpita? Top Striker This week will seal the fate of Qazi, Sandeep and Monica. The two new comers have to be constantly reminded that they need to get serious apart from correcting the mistakes made in the last Gala. Will they measure up to the older students? Will Qazi once again deliver at the Ranbhoomi? Which student will leave the Gurukul? All these questions keep the drama and tension at peak in the Gurukul. |
