I'm pretty sure this might take place. Rizwaan is a nice guy otherwise. He isn't as stone-hearted or cold. As much as I don't like Gauhar, I also don't hate her.
She did disgust me, when she tried to capture Zain's attention. She did an evil thing, in helping frame someone like Aaliya in shoplifting. But here's the thing. She doesn't have brains of her own.
Because, I feel, both Rizwaan & Gauhar have been nothing, but mere puppets at the hands of, their two very selfish sisters, Nafeesa & Shazia. Everything they do, every emotion they've felt, has been under the influence of & as a result of their sisters' troubled married lives. If Shazia & Nafeesa, didn't hate each other, I'm sure Rizwaan wouldn't have had a prob with Shazia or Gauhar & Gauhar too, wouldn't have had a prob with Nafeesa or Rizwaan.
While Gauhar is dumb, just like Nafeesa had told her on holi, Rizwaan is highly influenced, by everything his sis says. Marrying Zain was always just a strategy for her to become a part of a hugely rich family but I don't think she ever loved him or even took a small liking towards him, on her own. So yes, Gauhar will fall for Rizwaan. Rizwaan might feel guilty as the pretense proceeds. He might break her heart later or he might not. That depends on how he reacts to Gauhar's nave advances. Cause Gauhar has nothing to gain by loving Rizwaan & so I call her nave in this.
He might break her heart, later feel guilty & try to patch up with her. Or he might end up breaking his Sis' heart, by refusing to break Gauhar's heart after getting to know her a bit. In the end, it's obvious these two will lose to each other & might take a stand against their own sisters, who'd be fuming with wrath by then.😆
