Veena Malik anti-India tweet trends on Twitter(DT note pg2)

It seems that Veena Malik has a knack of getting herself in trouble. The Pakistani actress, who faded from the limelight after getting married, is in news again after she tweeted an anti-India tweet.

The actress, who has tried her hand in Bollywood, has praised India and Indians several times before. However, now she has a negative opinion about the country that gave her so much fame and recognition.

She first re-tweeted a news about a 23-year-old German student who was allegedly molested and robbed by some auto drivers in New Delhi. She then tweeted, "India sucks." The two words were enough to draw the ire of Indians and within hours she started trending on Twitter.

I believe that is a fake account.

I guess she hasn't heard of Mukhtaran Mai.

You know how ABCD's are. All the hate they get for being "brown" or "Tarroritz" in the US gets directed at their home countries. 😆

What bothers me is how people are stuck on her comment (true or not doesn't matter) rather than actions of those men who molested the girl. We definitely have our priorities straight here.
