Hey Guys,

I am sure you guys must be thinking. whenever u see a new thread from me, i come with some questions about history........... 😆 and here i m there again!!!!!!!!

well i again got curious!!!!!!!! i dont have any authentic sources to confirm but i went to wikipedia and saw that there was no mention of vanraj or any similar name in solanki ruler's history...... so does it mean that he is going to die???????? if that then i m sad! as much as i want bhimdev to be killed, i wanted true king such as vanraj ruling the state!!!!!!!!! in fact i should not say much without knowing full truth😆

if u guys don't mind i would bug u with one more point. in wikipedia again, it says that there was a king named MulrajII, who conquered ghori same way as prithvi did in small age........ and during his lifetime he never bothered again to attack on gujarat........ (well i dont think this is truth, as if it would be then he would have been just as famous as prithvi was)

u know what i m really in a need of history professor!!!!!!!!!! gosh i come up with so many confusions or doubts with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😆 now u guys come on!!!!!!!!!! attack me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😆

The Solanki clan of Rajputs ruled Gujarat from c. 960 to 1243. Gujarat was a major center of Indian Ocean trade, and their capital at Anhilwara (Patan) was one of the largest cities in India, with population estimated at 100,000 in the year 1000. In 1026, the famous Somnath temple in Gujarat was destroyed by Mahmud of Ghazni. After 1243, the Solkanis lost control of Gujarat to their feudatories, of whom the Vaghela chiefs of Dholka came to dominate Gujarat.

There were three powerful dynasties which were ruling different parts of Gujarat: the Gurjars had their sway over the north, the Chalukyas ruled the south and the Maitraks were saddled in Saurashtra.

As vassals of the Valabhis, Chavadas held their sway over parts of north Gujarat. They assumed independent control after the fall of Valabhi. Vanraj,. the most prominent of the eight Chavada kings, founded a new capital at Anhilpur Patan. he reconquered his father's lost territories and founded the Chavada dynasty which lasted a shade under a century.

hope that helped..........😃

no cherry 😆 chavada is the name of the clan.. his father's name was not given there.. im still guessing its the same vanraj.. because he also calls himself anhilwara solanki and he is also in the gujarat area in the same time as the prithvi's (900-1100 AD) story itself.. 😊 so i guessed it would be too much of a co-incidence to not be the same vanraj we are seeing in PRC
