Mala Sinha in Nepal's honour list

After Devsaab, it is Mala Sinha who will be honored by the Nepal Government at the first National Film Festival that begins today. While Dev Anand will be conferred with the National Award for excellence in films, Sinha will receive the Critics award for her film Maitighar a super hit, released in 1966.
Mala Sinha, a Nepalese Christian was in those days the first lady of Nepalese film industry but she chose to shift to
Mumbai and make a base in Bollywood. On the occasion the hit film Maitighar will also be re-released after nearly four decades.
