Another episode where expectations were sky high and we landed thud on the ground. The episode itself was not bad but compared to the dhamaka Expected, it fizzled out ... 😕
What I had dreamed of: 😳
- Jalal teasing Jodha Begum on the walk to the jashn about her green dress and unanswered question
- Jalal teasing that they arrived at the jashn and so she was saved again from answering
- Jalal turning and handing Jodha his hand while climbing the stage and Ishq hai woh ehsaas in the background
- After the failed attack, Jodha running to Jalal and hugging him are you okay? I could not live if something happened to you.
Well, at least I saw these beautiful scenes in my imagination. I hope you enjoyed reading them too. 😊
Anyways, here is my take 5 on what actually happened:
(1) Again Akdha together in the first frame: I am always happy when they show Jalal-Jodha together in the first frame together. I have not seen Jodha-Jalal spend so much time together as this week so I will take it. It is nice to see Jalal back in cordial relationships with Raja Bharmal. I guess Jodha's actions erased Jalal's anger for the Shivani fiasco and maybe erased the CVs memory of it! 😉
(2) The jashn was not only a celebration for Jodha but also for Jalal as well as he announces the abolishment of slavery; a few things I liked about the jashn:
- Everyone has new clothes (a separate note on Ruqs later) including Jalal!
- The happiness in Jodha's eyes that he abolished slavery and became one with his people- she was glowing with love and respect 😊
- The little eye locks that our Jodha-Jalal were giving to each other- he took her permission to go to the public
(3) Ruqaiya's pitiable state : I am wondering if they plan to make Ruqs a comic character as she was hilarious today for three reasons 😆
- She actually thought Jalal would prefer her over Jodha during a jashn for Jodha
- Her Ben hand-me-downs: Not only was she wearing Ben's nikkah duppatta but I believe the Green top Jodha wore first and then Ben
- Her smile when they announced her as Mallika-e-Khaas and her name came in the song- though I do not understand why
(4) Sujamal survived: So what if everyone thinks he is a traitor, I am just excited Sujamal survived. I like his character and his love for Jodha. I think it is going to be interesting as Sujamal hides as a woman to figure out the truth. I also believe Abhay mentioned that there was initially a thought of a Rajvanshi role it was later cleared. I will continue to be optimistic till I have reason not to.
(5) Precap is exactly why I am not worried about the MU that Sujamal is a traitor having a negative impact on the Jodha-Jalal relationship- because these days Akdha are having mature conversations on what is bothering them. I am glad Jalal asked what is bothering Jodha in his round- about way and Jodha answered openly about Sujamal. They may have an argument but I don't see a MU.I am also excited there will be an Akdha interaction again tomorrow!v😊
