Arnav walked inside the bedroom with a sleeping Khushi in his arms. He carefully laid her on the bed and tucking her inside the blanket, he got up to leave, however he was stopped with the hand holding his lapel. A small smile graced his lips. Minds may play tricks but what about their heart, which beats in unison, which is entwined with eachother. Leaning over her, he cupped her soft cheeks in his big hands. Letting out a deep sigh, he began.

"I love you Khushi, I don't know you believe me or not but I do. I know it's really hard for you to believe me but just try...try...not for me but for you...for your love, I know you love me...I really don't know how did you managed to love a Rakshash like me...but I know you love me...I...I just want you to live with me, happy...trust me I will love you, will never ever say hurtful things to you..." Arnav looked at her sleeping form. Leaning closer to her, he buried his face in her hair, as he continued in his muddled voice. "I will love you ..keep you happy...will give you everything you ask for...bas wapas aajao Khushi...I really miss my Khushi...I miss your nonsense talk...I miss the act of your eyes, the way it glares at me, opens wide at me, winks at me, teases me...I miss everything, Khushi...Your Laad Governor misses you Khushi...come back to me...please bas...bas...bas mujhe chhod ke mat jao...What your Rakshas will do without his Rajkumari?" his hot tears alloyed in the darkness of her tresses, the tightness in his throat was so painful to bear.

Wiping the traces of any tear, he got up from the bed, heading back to the backward.

Khushi opened her damp eyelids as she heard the voice of feet fading away. Her bruised heart let out a quivering sigh.

"But what if you go back to becoming the Arnav ji whom I hate, who calls me characterless and who don't trust me. What if I came back and you went away?"

Khushi closed her eyes, her heart and mind muddling up as again the slumber took over.

Raphael threw another stone at the far distance as he saw Mr.Raizada heading towards him.

Arnav walked towards Raphael.

"Hey Mr.Raizada." Raphael jogged towards Arnav and stood in front of him.

"Mr. D'mello, what is that you wanted to talk to me?" Arnav asked.

"Yes Mr.Raizada, its about Khushi's illness" Raphael said and instantly had all the attention of Arnav.

"What about her?" Arnav asked.

"Schizophrenia, Mr.Raizada. She is suffering from Schizophrenia." Rahhael said.

"What?" Arnav asked, shocked!

"Yes, Schizophrenia. Its is a challenging disorder that makes it difficult to distinguish between what is real and unreal, think clearly, manage emotions, relate to others, and function normally." Raphael enlightened Arnav's knowledge.

"What?...how...I mean...I mean...it can be cured right? " Arnav asked, his heartbeat racing.

"Yes, it can be, with proper treatment and the patient's willingness to be cured." Raphael said and waiting for a moment he continued again. "And it's very difficult to categorize this disease but I think it's Paranoid Schizophrenia. In this the person think or has a illusion that someone is a threat to them, like someone want to hurt them and are always waiting for an opportunity to hurt them, which in real is NOT. And in Khushi's case that person is your sister."

"What? Di? But...how?" Arnav looked at Raphael for an answer.

Raphael gave a rueful smile to Arnav.

"How? I think you can answer this question better than me." Raphael's tone was a balanced sarcasm.

Arnav's head held down in shame. Yes! Who better than him knows!

"Mr.Raizada, this is not the time to hung your head down in shame, and I have no intention of making you feel the same. All I want to say is, its good that you found all this soon, before she had plucked herself more into the darkness. And after today's session I can only say that you are her only light in her dark tunnel and the only heal to her open wound. So just be patient with her, and show her that no matter what you will never leave her and the least is because of your sister. And I assure you, you will get your old Khushi back." Raphael said with his professional confidence.

Arnav can only nod with the growing tightness in his throat.

"Ok then, by for now. I will visit tomorrow. And take care of Khushi" Raphael smiled at Arnav.

Arnav saw Raphael leaving.

"And I assure you, you will get your old Khushi back."

He will hang on that!

Ok, I know it is a short update and the precap is not included, but dear my health is little down and also with my granny staying at our place, I am not getting much time with my laptop. So you will have to do with this small update and I dont know if it is up to the mark, so hope to read your review :)

And now about the disease I had mentioned in the update. I had searched about this disease on net and with little fiction I have added it here. So pardon me if I am wrong anywhere.

though short but something is better than nothing. ..glad with all things happening in your life you could take time out to update..



like the way Arnav express his feelings to khushi thinking she Iis sleeping. .khushi ' s insecurities can be understandable. ..

Looking forward

Arnav's confession was just so heart touching, really pulled my heart's strings as well. Khushi would need to learn to trust him, to depend on him again. As Raphael said, he is her light, her cure.
