Thank you so much for your warm wishes! 🤗I will surely reply to them all - right now I really need to rush down to finish the next part for Perfect Match!

I have been so lucky & have been blessed with so many wonderful things lately! It's all due to the kind wishes you have had for me. Truly, I cannot express in words what your wishes mean to me 😳. I had a total blast today – my best birthday ever!

If anyone is curious about my b.day, then just scroll down. I am writing down almost everything that took place today.

I woke up today morning with a very heavy head, and some of you may not believe this, but I could not even remember it was my birthday. I had a very disturbing nightmare; well let's just say it had my worst fear.

I went downstairs feeling sleepy – sat in front of the tv just to get out of the nightmare, and when my dad wished me, I remembered my birthday. I left immediately to the bathroom to take a shower; I was in the middle of the shower when I heard my mom yell out "grandparents call" I had to rush outside in only a towel with shampoo and water dripping out of my hair.

I picked up the phone spoke heartily to my grandparents, my grandmother at one point even asked, "did you gain weight?" I laughed, and replied, "yes, a lot" definitely wanted to add, "I have gained weight to the point that I might want to loose some now" but never got to it, since I was shivering, so I literally asked, "Can I put the phone down?" I have no idea what my grandma felt for that, just hope she didn't take it harshly.

I had barely walked out of the shower when I heard the doorbell ring. I ran up to my messy room, went running around picking up washed clothes, and tossing them in my closet, while the ones that needed to be sent for laundry were thrown under my bed, and still remain there.

I heard two familiar noises of my best friends. I walked halfway down the stairs took a peek, and was about to run back upstairs again, but I stopped. Somehow, I managed to get down, and the first thing I did was stand behind my mother, like a five-year-old, terrified at the sight of visitors.

My best friends stood in front of me smiling, as they saw me hiding behind my mom. I heard them ask, "what's wrong with you?" I replied honestly, "I am scared". They looked at each other, and at my mom, who was smiling at my state, "why are you scared?" they asked, while my mom walked away leaving me alone, there was no place to hide.

They gave me gifts, despite me warning them not to, they caught my picture when I was one wearing a big pair of glasses, looking like a grandma, and even asked, "why are our parents talking for so long?". Later, they finally got to my bedroom, and even exclaimed, "wow, I like your room. You should decorate it! And, what were you talking about it being messy? It's so clean." They had not seen the bed yet.

My mom walked in, and declared, "you haven't seen the closet yet" she almost opened it, but I managed to stop her by standing by my closet. My best friends tried to push me away. I told them, "just imagine this is your closet". "oh boy" I heard them say, soon they had caught sight of two other pictures on my mirror frame.

Somehow, we got back downstairs, my best friend checked her mark on the net, just hope she did good. All she told us was, "I passed". "What are we going to do?" I heard them say. "Let's go out" I answered. Finally, we were out good to go.

We arrived at the mall. We went upstairs walked around the corner catching up, and even argued about a Loreal picture being Aishwarya's. We had to walk back again, since we had taken the wrong route to begin with, went to the theatre checked out the timings. "I am hungry" I heard one of them say. We decided to go to food court, on the way we discussed about our morning breakfast.

After walking around aimlessly for a while, checking out the mall layout, rechecking the layout, we finally made it to food court, well not really, just the food section. Each one of us wanted to go to a different place, one of them suggested, "you guys go where ever you want to, and we will meet at one point" I refused, but soon regretted it.

We spent an hour and half there. Just sat there eating & chatting at the same time. Bugging each other about crushes, talking about good old grade 9, about univ, about old friends, about old arguments, talking about the type of guys they like, one of them suggested, "tall, dark & handsome" while the other one said, "medium, dark & handsome". I wonder what the guy sitting next to us thought about our loud giggles, and our choices.

After checking out all the cute guys, we walked back up the stairs to the movie theatre. Me & one of them wanted to watch 'The Namesake', since we weren't exactly familiar with the other movies. But, the other one wanted to watch a Halle Berry movie, so finally we went in purchased tickets.

I walked around aimlessly, while they purchased popcorn. We walked inside the theatre about five people were present inside the theatre. "This definitely tells the quality of the movie" I remarked, as we sat. After twenty painful minutes of enduring boring trailers the movie (The Perfect Stranger) finally started. I liked it at first, but then it started to get boring, and slowly my eyes started to close. I wanted to sleep, but couldn't exactly, now that I think about it I could have easily moved away and taken a nap.

We sat there commenting on the wrong rating, predicting the future, talking about the villains, and comparing one of them to Halle Berry. "You look similar to Halle" we told her, while she disagreed.

The movie finally ended. They both liked it, while I didn't. I found it highly disturbing.

We walked out of the theatre. I wanted to get a drink, but later changed my mind. My best friend got a hair band instead in the shop. Our next stop was this photo booth. My best friends stood in front of the mirror making their hair straight, I will confess I did it too, but I could only manage to take a small peak. We went, and sat in there to get a picture only to realize we didn't have five-dollar bills. We got out, went to Scotia, which was near by.

"My aunt" I said, and turned around, as I spotted my aunt in the line up at Scotia. "Where?" I heard my best friends say, but soon they had caught sight of her. "Let's go say Hi to her" one of them remarked, while me & the other one dragged her behind. "she is not really my aunt" I said, "I mean not related". "Then, call her auntie" one of them said. "Does it really matter?" I asked.

For the first time in my life I used an ATM, got the money. My best friend finally got a coffee to which the other got mad at. "You told me you weren't going to get it?" she said. "She needed it," I said. "She is getting addicted to coffee man" I heard her reply. We finally made it to Bulk Barn got some candy.

"Ask the lady if it has beef or pork," said one of them. I asked the cashier she had no idea, but I bought it nevertheless, a very wrong move on my part. Just hope the gelatin does not have beef or pork. The two of them argued in the shop, we walked out, went to the Photo Booth inserted the five dollar bill, but it never worked. We got out.

They both argued. "I want to go home" one of them complained. Finally, I called my mom, and asked her to pick us up. We went outside, they both said some not so kind words to each other, which disturbed me. I stood there in the parking lot with them trying to sort out the matter, well not exactly; I actually took a side, which made the other one feel bad. I gave up. But, soon I was reduced to tears.

"Oh my god" one of them said, "I knew you would cry". "Stop saying that" I replied, "And, I am not crying". The other one of them immediately said, "Sorry. I am really sorry" she hugged the other one, and said, "Don't cry". I turned around.

"What should I do to make you feel better?" I heard the other one ask. I just shook my head, somehow controlled the tears. My mom came, and we sat in the car. Finally, we reached home.

We came on my computer, one of them checked her hotmail account, went to hi5, went to Orkut to check someone's picture (a guy who got rishta for my friend) I also agreed with my best friend's thought on him, and then did a google search on deleted contacts. My mom came with pav bhaji, which happens to be my favourite dish.

After eating it I rushed back to the computer, while they sat talking to my mom. I checked my emails smiled through the greetings, and emails. Madz asked me about the hot actors for a friend - she managed to fool me. I still remember at one point she said, "Hrithik" and I was shocked! But, I never went to far to put a connection! Now that I think about it "Hrithik" was quite clear, but she never said, "Apoorva" - I would catch her there for sure!

After one and half-hour my best friends dragged me with them, which I wasn't so pleased with, and we sat in front of my mom. We spoke on various topics from parents, marriages, men in general to various other things. They kept asking questions, while my mom answered mostly how a girl should behave after marriage (by the way none of us is getting married, but a friend we know of is getting married in May).

Later, we went to my room, and sat there talking. I tried to do the butterfly, but horribly failed. It was a bad attempt. I tried to bring my feet closer, and when I did that, my thighs would be up when they should be a bit closer to the floor. "I can't do this," I said frustrated. "You don't need to do it. You don't have thighs," said one of them. "that's not the point! Why can't I do this?" I asked. "Your legs aren't flexible" I heard one of them say. I vowed to do butterfly everyday till I get it finally!

Soon it was time for them to leave. We had met after a period two years. None of was wanted to part, we just wanted to talk. But, we decided to meet soon. They left. I came online, and Madz informed me about going to IF asking me to check out Hina's long msg. 'oh boy' I thought, now I hope she does not expose me!

I came online to see the lovely messages you all have put up! I was totally thrilled! I never expected it, just a few hours earlier, I received a PM from Sumana asking me about party, and I had replied, "there is no party tonight!". Madz, is this by any chance your homework?

I got a phone call from my mami – spoke to my three-year-old cousin, who is justtt adorable. Speaking to him reminded me of the one thing I was missing. And, that was India.
