Reading through interviews posted by the actors who are starring in biopics or movies made out of books, like in the instant case, Arjun Kapoor in 2 States, it was said that he dint read the book and resisted the temptation of doing so since he wanted it to be a journey of self discovery.
There are many instances otherwise as well, wherein the actors prefer to not read the book/ biography on which the movies are based on.
Just wondering, if that is the right approach of taking it forward, since the character has already been written in a certain manner, a certain vibe is important to be caught, improvisation is a different thing altogether, one can do that while performing too, but isnt it necessary to get the picture portrayed by the author correct and for that maybe having an indepth understanding of the character in the book and prolly the some round of discussions with the authors too?
Just a thought for discussion purposes😊 nothing against any actor perse, really adore Fubu😳
