Baldev: the most hypocritical?

He jumps the gun and constantly accuses Ranvi of trying it on with his sister, yet he seems to be doin the same with Ranvi's sister..he's writing Veera a love letter. If Ranvi had done that then he would have ensured the whole pind knew of this and he would have insulted poor Ranvi again. He also gifted Veera a present and thought it was completely normal. But when Ranvi does such things, Baldev flips.

😆 It's because baldev himself hasn't realized his true feelings for veera.Everything he does for Veera including now writing a love letter is his usual nok jhok with veera. Once he realizes that he loves Veera he will realize that he is in a tough spot with Ranvi.

First of all, Baldev is a short-tempered guy, so jumping into conclusions and later realizing his mistake is the way he always is. But that does not mean that he's hypocrite.

He never called Veera alone in a jungle late at night. He was never found with her alone in a room. He didn't even hug her back when she was broken but Ranvi did once when Gunjan was scared of the thunder during the rainfall if I remember. Baldev knows his limits very well and this was evident when he decided not to hard-brake anymore that would cause Veera to hold him. As far writing a love letter or trying to pacify her, he thinks that he's responding to HER feelings but does not realize that its him who's falling for her.

Baldev saw his sister's reputation getting tarnished cause of Ranvi, so it's natural for him to react like that. If he knew that Ranvi saved Gunjan, he'd have never done so. But like I said, he's impatient, so does everything instantly and concludes anything basing on what he sees.

I don't consider it to be an actual love letter instead I see it as he wrote a cute poem in a funny way. Ranvi had written an actual serious love letter where he wrote that he loved Gunjan and thoroughly expressed his feelings in it. Baldev has yet to realize himself if he's in love with Veera. These feelings are new for him and he doesn't know how to express them without using humor.

Yeah but that is what makes him baldev..he's a grey shaded character

I know right. Like seriously who the hell threatens his love that he'll break her head if she shows nakhre? 🤣 Baldev has a looong way to go! He still needs to understand the seriousness of the evolving feelings for Veera that's growing in his heart, and he will realize the depth of it once he suffers from any major emotional turmoil or heartbreak which perhaps is on the way as Veera's rejection. I just hope that she simply says to him that he's nice but she has no place for such feelings in her heart anymore.

Cant you see the difference between RanJan's and VeeBa's situation?
VeeBa have never been found in any situation which wld tarnish their image or question Veera's character!
Watever Baldev is doing for Veera is a part of their usual nok-jhok and there is nothing serious abt it!
Whereas RanJan have been caught in a compromising and objectional situation.
Being a hot-headed and impulsive person Baldev is...its quite obvious he wld react in that way also coz he's an extremely possessive person.
Any protective brother wld do that if he sees his sister in that condition with a guy!
I agree he jumps to conclusion too soon but thats how he us supposed to be...he cant all of a sudden become intelligent and patient!
The essense of his character will be lost in that way!

And btw that was not a love letter...he had just written a bakwaas shayari to please her 😆
