She entered the large, dimly lit corridor, a huge frown all over her face, and her heart filled with utter disappointment. She hadn't imagined her first week at High School to be this hopeless, after what seemed like 3 months of suffering homesickness, and Ma's learn your household chores rants all day long, she had awaited a joyous orientation week at school. But well, she sighed to herself, god had always been unfair towards her, no matter what it was, either the scholarship she lost by a one percent last year, or the elections she had lost on account of her opposing candidate being the daughter of the headmistress, everything in her life had always been unusual.
Sulking all over, she walked away towards the third classroom on the left, a part of her grieved over leaving an awesome class behind, and entering into one which she intercepted to be of total wilderness. If she had been sent here to fill the quota of girls in the class, than there was not much she could expect out of the 23 boys that populated the class, not to mention that she didn't know a single soul out there.

He kept his hand on his forehand, leaning against the wall behind, which he rested his tired back on. All his efforts to keep his eyes open were in vain, as he desperately tried to get the boring lecture of the Biology teacher into his head. His other hand scribbled onto the page of copy opened in front of him, which he had earlier intended to take in notes on, but like every time had failed to do so, upon realizing that his brain activity would stoop a bit too low in the Biology period.
It was a poke from his best friend, who sat next to him, that brought him back to the class, and amazingly a bit too early that he realized that the class seemed unknowingly quiet. His eyes opened to full length, for the first time in the last 45 minutes as his eyes eyed the girl that everybody seemed to be eyeing standing on the door, her bag on her shoulder, throwing a most annoying expression at the ultimate stare party of his class. He wanted to giggle a bit, at the girl's odd reaction, but chose to subside that for the time being, as the girl told the teacher of whom and where she had come from. He tried to get his eyes off the silly girl, but somehow his vision kept hooked in her direction, and for some reason or the other, he already knew, this girl was someone he couldn't get his eyes off from.
She looked at everyone in the class staring at her, the only two girls present in the lot, passing uneasy looks at her, and the boys dumbfounded by her entire being. Their reaction was the weirdest she had seen, and that moment for her was enough to regret being sent here; however she knew little, that this class would end up being the best year of her life.

JUNIORS
*Note: 'X' stands for '10' in Roman numbers.
- These are ten in number, one class has 23 students. On account of many falling in the same category all characters have not been described, only the main ones, who connect with the leads and the story it self.
Grade X-A
1. Anant bajpai
They boy with charisma, the boy with charm, however arrogance and bossiness erupting from him, like a volcano unleashing its bounty, yes, it is none other than Anant. The 16 year old boy, is one of a kind, not easy to find, easy to drool on, and despite all the good, the one whom people usually tend to stay away from. His books are his best friends, having had inherited from his author father, and the love for the functioning of the human body running in his blood on account of his mother being a cardiologist. He loves solitude, and its peace that he seeks everywhere as for him it is "Action speaks louder than words". As everybody intercepted he is perfectly normal, different but not heroic. Don't expect anything super good from him, because he is what he is, he won't change for anybody, be it anybody. Girls, are the last things that would interest him, and for him life is all about gaining something, about following his ambition, earning and than retiring at an age when he has earned enough to never have to work his entire life after that. But fate has never left anybody, and so he too becomes the victim of fates evil play too.
2. Navya Mishra
Ambitious, down to earth, practical, Navya, believes not in finding the man of her dreams, but the job of her choice, the profession in which she prospers because for her life is all about defeating, always emerging as the best in every single thing, because in her dictionary the word 'giving up' and 'impossible' does not exist. After the betrayal of her military father towards her mother, all remaining shards of hope to find love were completely dissolved in her heart, however even through all the hard circumstance life had to offer her she continues to remain juvenile, bubbly and facing everything in the highest of spirits. The entry of Anant in her life, changes her previously held virtues, but the change would not last long, as fate turns 360 degrees back again.
3. Priyanka Chaturvedy
She is one of the two girls that were already in the class when navya entered Grade 10-B Like navya, for her life is about living every moment, believing it will not come back, but she is care free, does not understand her responsibilities, and even though she plays cupid in the Dark Paths of love of the teenagers, she herself does not know what her life is all about.
4. MayankSehgal
Mayank, is a boy tracing his ancestors back to royalty, and having had a golden spooned life and one which is absolutely free of any disturbances. He does not understand the value of money, education and takes in everything to be just a merry joke. The meaning of life for him is simple, be happy, stay happy, keep happy.
5. Karan Wakhani
He is Anant's best friend and a boy of absolute calm, understanding nature, who holds the best capabilities to resolve matters in a matter of few seconds. He tends to take the lower pitch in the group of friends, and tends to contribute only when circumstances demand for his assistance. For Anant, he is his right hand, and life without him in unimaginable for a boy of his nature, as it Karan who is there by his side, always, and in real definition it is the bond these two boys share, that can be rightfully defined as Friendship. Probably he is one character which I would like to salute to keep up with someone so fierce like Anant (you'll just know how he stands to this word).
6. Vivek Mandvi
"If you define him as a bit crazy, it wound't be wrong, if you define him as a nut case that wound't be wrong either, but if you say he is not M.A.D, then that would be wrong!" says navya, about her best friend. The guy nicknamed 'khamba' and a 'retard' by his best friend, like everyone else he too has a unique personality that is difficult to describe but an experience worth living through. They become best friends, only after a few weeks that navya enters in the class, and for her he is like someone who she can't even breathe without. His personality seems to be of a very juvenile nature however, he has way of hiding this from others even navya her self, which obviously makes her furious at him at times. (Okay, people don't kill me, she'll end up with Anant in the end, and they are just friends. Ooo he reminds me of my best friends too, on a brief note, this is how my best friends is.š)
7. VishakaBhosle
Let's see how do I describe her? Weird? Sure, that's the word for her. She has the most violent mood swings on earth, she is the ultra girlish type, pink and pink all around, not to forget her non stop crying, and being a diabetic patient her sugar level stooping up and low, like all the time. She lives in the world of fantasy (which doesn't exist), and somehow has a luck of golden, as she finally ends up falling in love (which I don't if that is love) with navya's best friends Vivek.
*Side note: Yeah, I know this was crazy, but when you read it in the FF itself, you'll read it from navya's point of view, they way she thinks of her, which apparently is pure negative. I didn't know how to describe this character, I know a person like this, and what I think of her, I have penned down exactly the same thing.
8. VivianBhattacharya
Not that he is a back bencher in the class, but yeah he is one of those students who nobody gives much importance for except for cases when fights have to be resolved, or not needed humor is to added. You know what sick humor is? Oh that is him, his jokes are of the kind which only he can laugh on (probably because they are to low to seep into other peoples head). A low grader in the class, however of an absolutely caring nature and one who is always around to cheer people up even if eh himself is low in spirits.
9. SamratSharma
We all have people in our class like him, don't we? Well at least I have had such people in my life all the time, so he's the kind who hardly ever speaks, and when he does you cant hear them (okay, I guess these people have some audacity problems). He is of a reserved nature, keeps to himself all the time, and doesn't talk to girls (because he thinks they are sinful creatures. Buhaha). He can be defined as a backbencher, who is either sleeping in the class, or has no note about the events or politics in the boundaries of a normal classroom.
10. PurabChaudhry
Those low mentality, pervert-ish sort of boys, that exist, yes he is one of them. The thought of him not only disgusts girls (which is obvious) but even boys, who tend to maintain a fair distance between themselves and him.
Grade X-B
*Will be introduced as the story progresses, I can post them too, if you want, but none of you would be able to remember so many characters, and I will go insane (not that I am not right now) handling so many characters. They are all minor characters who have no real role, but since the prologue states, that navya has seen a change in section in the same grade, so yeah from X-B she has been sent to X-A.
SENIORS
1. Mohan Bajpai
I don't seem to understand why can't I change mohan's relationship status with anant. Fine, enough of my bakwaas, as already said, he is Anant's OLDER brother. He is one nautanki baaz, (I know we use this for females, but I am crazy that's why using it for him), and believes in enjoying every moment of life. The mischief mongers in the school, yes he is one of them, who do not leave any chance of visiting the headmistress office, and getting a warning letter for one thing or the other. It's a pity he doesn't get kicked out of the school, on account of being a straight A student.
2. Renuka Mishra
As predicted, as known, yes she is navya's cousin, who doesn't live with her, but they are always there to support each other. She is not all that quiet, but speaks when required, respects everybody, not at all straight forwards like navya, not as witty as her, neither full of life, but she is happy the way she is, with her parents.
3. Anushka
She is anant's older sister, and mohan's twin. The brother sister, are always at odd terms since they love quarreling over the slightest matter, and when the trio gets together, half the household goes mad. She is really pretty, and the girl who all her fellow batch mates are gaga over (I mean boys), however like her younger brother she is least interested in all this boy stuff, and tends to be engrossed in either reading books, or watching TV. Life brings her a twist, when she falls for the most unlikely boy to fall for, and that is as the starting quote suggests that she realizes, that what she didn't find, found her, Love.
4. Amit
He belongs to a middle class family, struggling to earn a living for themselves, and making their son study too, which is why he has a part time job and works at a caf as a waiter. This is particularly why doesn't tend to interact much with anyone, keeps to himself, does his work, scores high, and goes. Supporting his family and getting them to a better position in life is his main agenda. He doesn't negate the fact that love is a beautiful feeling, but he does take it as a distraction that might draw him away from his maturely handled responsibilities.
5. Saloni Seth
Do we all have Bimbos in our school? Yeah, so ab jis cheez ki kami thein who bhi pori hogae, here is the bimbo of the century, Ms.Saloni Seth. The spoiled child of her politician father, she thinks too high of her self, and considers everyone else to be well beyong her. Her motive in life is to caresse her skin, appear pretty, find the dream of her prince, and Ta-Da, live with him happily ever after.

NOTE
- Point 1: This is not a saas-bahu saga or a typical mature aged love story, this is high school love, so if you are reading this FF in hopes that you will see AnYa mad in love, then please I would tell all of you that you are at the wrong place. At the age of 16-17 years, you don't go that deep in love, and if you do then you are way too mature. Please don't complaint that ANYA do not know how to romance, because on an honest note, they are not meant to know about the word romance at this age, leave alone doing it. Yes, if you talk about bonding than that is acceptable since this FF is all about bonding and about love knowing no age limits.
-Point 2: There are NO villains in this story, since I don't think school life has any villains, or do they? Whatsoever the case might be, Anya themselves are two gone cases, who ironically are villains for each other, so they need no external person to act as a villain.
- Point 3: Ignore my unwanted to blabber in the character sketches; yeah I know it impossible to skip it since it's embedded in the sketches in such a way that you can't read the next thing without getting view of my hopeless insights.
