Vedika - In trauma

Guys,

After knowing the secret behind Shalini-Dhirendra's truth, we have all been wonderign the impact it will have on Vasudha....But yesterday, my thoughts went to Vedika!! I have anyways been in awe of her character!! A powerful woman, sidelined by her father but believes in her conviction!!!Ready to face the world and fight with anyone If the need arises for her family....Beautiful potray!!! 👏

Yesterday, when Utaara discloses the truth about Shalini's past in a chilling manner, I couldnt help feeling sad for Vedika too...A woman who is the first one to hear the disastrous truth....Vedika always knew her dad was manupulative, but an evil in disguise is shocking for her too....

Putting on her shoes, I cannot imagine what she is going through hearing the truth in a manner that makes her visualise it too and ofcourse the victim, right in front of her!!!! It will engrave a permanent pain in her heart.A manupulative man deserves hatred but what does a rapist deserve? What does a rapist who then adopts the resultant child deserve??? Vedika is going to be in a fix!! Knowing the fact and then living in the same house with Dhir, seeing him everyday and above all keeping quiet for Vasudha and family's sake is going to be very difficult and painful experience for her..

For how long will she be able to hold herself!!!! Time will tell us!!

The consequences : I feel Vedika will emerge as a self reliant power who would not leave a single stone upturned to go against her father!!!! I remember the warning she gave to Dhir, that If she ever finds a single evidence against him, she will not think twice to expose him...I am waiting for the day when Dhir and Vedika will be on different sides of the table, fighting their battle, against each other!!!!

I absolutely agree with what you have said and you ahve put it very well and covered everything. Some people might call vedika an alcoholic, but she knows her duty and she is side-lined by her father and that is why she seeks refuge with the alcohol. She has the courage to face the truth and stand for her family,even if it is against her own father. She very well knows that her father is very manupulative and can do anything for his benefit, but she would have been very shocked knowing her father is a rapist.Even if you hate him, he is still her father and to see shalini in her condition today and to see vasu everyday in front of her eyes, will hurt her and remind her everything from the past.
Even i remember vedika telling her dad that she would expose him if she found ne proof against him. But im just wondering what she is going to do now,tell vasudha and expose her father or stay quite for shalini's betterment and for sushant and vasu's sake.
Vedika might look drunk all the time, but she cares for her siblings and she can go to any level for them.

So true.......despite of being a strong woman and having the courage to go against her father.....she was so shocked to hear about her father's monster actions.......i think i even saw a glimpse of fear on her face........if this is the effect on vedika......what will happen to Vasudha if she finds out!

I think vedika, now aware of the dark past of her father will even stand stronger against him and sushant will support her.....

Very well said about Vedika's situation. Its like you have exactly read Vedika's mind. I think they will show Vedika getting Flash backs of first weeks episode when vasudha said," If you want me to go against Papa, i will neve do that." and another time Vasudha was telling Vedant that their papa earned this status and respect on so many years." Now, Vedika will unveil the truth to her siblings about their very own, dear father. Achint kaur is doing a wonderful job portraying Vedika's character. I have always seen her in a negative role and getting lots of CHAPPALS from viewers but this time, for sure, she will be praised by her fans and critics.

You make a very valid point.. I loved the way that you have described Vedika as a powerful character who through her sacarsm and her wittiness always questioned her father's action.. Vedika has from the very start have seen her father's true colors. She knew that behind the face that sprew "goodness" hides a devious man who will is something devious!!! and she has always suspected him of being up to something..

When you ask "What does a rapist who then adopts the resultant child deserve???" No sympathy or any kind of pity whatsoever.. The question why he adopted Vasudha was simply because he knew that if he didnt he was in danger of someone else will.. the truth will be out!! and he did not want to take any chances. Second.. maybe it was his guilt that made him do it.. it is hard to beleive that such a arrogant and hatred of a man have a thing called conscious and soul.. but maybe it was his guilt that made him do the impossible thing?

I do not feel any kind of emotion towards vasu's father.. and to me he is the worst of men..

yep and beside hating vasudha she supports her.. and now I hope that she will have dhirindra truth comes out.. And they way she talks looks like she knows how her father is and she isn't scared of him.. so let's see what happenes.

i became very emotional after watching the episode.... all the time i was jus thinking about vedika...she's the first one to know about her father's harsh reality...just imagine ... it must have bin a very painful and embarasing moment for vedika to know tht her father is a rapist...whenever she wud c vasudha she would feel so guilty...what she must be going thru at the moment.... I completely empathise with her... she's a very strong women 👏
