It all started when Taani was 6 years old. She met a boy while he was playing outside on her farm in California. He was none other than Rey an average kind of boy that you chase and beat up for teasing you. After that first meeting where she beat him up, they kept on meeting and beating each other up at the fence. That only lasted for a little while though. After that, they would meet at the fence all the time and were always seen together there. Soon they were close friends
She would tell him all her secrets. Rey was very quiet and would just listen to what she had to say. She found him easy to talk to and even Rey could talk to her about everything. In school they had separate friends but when they got home they would always talk about what happened in school.
One day Taani told him that her friend cheated her and broke her heart. He comforted her and assured that everything would be okay. He gave her words of encouragement. Taani was happy and thought of Rey as a real friend. But she knew that there was something else about him that she liked. She thought of it that night and figured that she loved him as a good friend.
All through high school till graduation, they were always together and both Rey and Taani thought it was normal as they were good friends. But they knew deep inside that they really felt differently. On graduation night, even though they had different dates for the prom, they really wanted to be with each other. After everybody went home that night, Taani went to his house and told him that she wanted to see him. Rey's happiness knew no bounds... Well, that night was the big chance and all they did was just sit in his balcony watching the stars and talking about their future plans instead. When OUR NAUGHTY Reyansh aka Rey started his pagalpan...😉😉😉
Rey: I need someone to talk to.
Taani: I'm always here for you.
Rey: I know.
Taani: What's wrong?
Rey: I like a girl so much.
Taani: (sadly) talk to her.
Rey: I don't know. She won't ever like me.
Taani: Don't say that...You're amazing.
Rey: I just want her to know how I feel.
Taani: Then tell her.
Rey: She won't like me.
Taani: How do you know that?
Rey: I can just try to tell her...
Taani: Well just tell her.
Rey: What should I say?
Taani: Tell her how much you like her.
Rey: I tell her daily.
Taani: What do you mean?
Rey: I'm always with her... I love her.
Taani: I know how you feel. I have the same problem... But he'll never like me.
Rey: Wait. Who do you like?
Taani: Oh, some boy.
Rey: Oh, she won't like me either.
Taani: She does.
Rey: How do you know?
Taani: Because who wouldn't like you?
Rey: You.
Taani: You're wrong. I love you.
Rey: I love you too.
Taani: So are you going to talk to her?
Rey: I just did.
Both just stared into each other's eyes ...and started laughing like hell...Later Rey pulled Taani INTO A PASSIONATE KISS AND THEN INTO A BONE CRASHING HUG...
All this lovey-dovey moments went on for few seconds...sorry as they were back into their friendly fights...
3 months later...
Rey's POV:
Now we don't even have to talk to know what the other person is feeling. It is as if we are twins and are connected in the mind. It really does amaze me in that sense that we are so totally connected in mind and spirit. It has been about three months since that unexpected first date in my balcony and we have not stopped loving each other since then. We are now in the midst of moving out to start a new life together. Who would have known that we would have grown to love each other to this level of understanding and commitment through a simple meeting of minds!
