'Ram was a wild boy before marriage'

She is enjoying playing mother to young Sia to the hilt. But Gautami Gadgil, wife of actor Ram Kapoor, who was a busy actor not long ago is itching to return to the small screen.

"I am in talks with Ektaa (Kapoor). Ram (plays Jai Walia in Zee's 'Kasamh Se') and I are most comfortable working with her. I have faith in her vision. I believe she knows what is best for me," she says.

On why she wishes to return to the small screen, Gautami says, "I have been a busy actor always. Although I am enjoying being at home and playing with Sia, I get bored when she goes to spend time with her grandparents. That is when I feel like getting back to work. If I do so, the happiest people would be my mother and my mother-in-law who will get all the attention from Sia."

So what kind of roles is Gautami considering? She replies, "I haven't thought of anything in particular. But Ram says that I must do meaty roles, or else it wouldn't be worthwhile returning to acting. My only condition is that I can't work round the clock."

Talking about her daily routine, Gautami says that she is more disciplined than Ram is. "Sia takes most of my time. But I find time to go to the gym regularly and work out. I had to lose the extra weight I had put on during my pregnancy."

She adds, " Ram isn't regular because he doesn't have the time. Ram was so fit when he was at home before 'Kasamh Se' had launched. But he has re-joined the gymnasium and is struggling to be regular. I have started packing him healthy homemade food.
