Bani, AD and the three susters have reached Mumbai. Bani is a little late in joining them and AD doesn't seem to be too happy. While at the Airport, AD meets an old foreign competitior who had come to Mumbai to take part in the biggest bidding process. AD tells him that every year this bid takes place but there is only one person who wins the bid every time and it is AD himself. He wishes good luck to his competitor, who has actually come to Mumbai to join hands with JW in the bidding process, and leaves with his extended family.
The foreigner goes and meets JW and while he is being introduced to others by JW, Bani crosses the passageway just behind Jai and he turns around. He feels Bani's presence around him but he cant locate or understand what he's feeling. He thinks as to why suddenly he's feeling like that. 😕
The cars of both JW and AD comes face and face and obstructs each other's ways but the drivers get down from the cars and get them sorted out. In both the cars, Jai and Bani are immersed in their own worlds and hardly glances up while AD observes them both from behind his glares and seems very pleased.
The matter gets sorted out and both cars head towards the same path. Suddenly, they find their paths obstructed once again when they chance upon a procession to the Ghats for immersion of Maa Durga's idol, it being Bijoya Dashami. Jai and Bani are now in different cars, parked side by side, but they still don't see each other. JW as usual feel bani's presence all around him and he glances towards the other car but his cell phone rings. It is Aditya who requests Jai to come for the Puja of Bani's death anniversary, if not for him but for Adi's Mother, since Maasi had already left. Jai agrees to do so.
AD urges Bani to go and offer her obeisance to Goddess Durga and absorb in her power and strength within herself for the coming time so that she can fight her own battle and win it too. Bani goes out and walks towards the truck carrying the idol of Maa Durga and offers her prayer to the Goddess. All around her people are dancing and throwing vermilion in the air. A chunk of red vermilion falls on her head and covers her maang. Bani is very surprised and remembers all those instances when JW had filled her maang. 😳
JW also gets down from the car at the same time and notices the figure. But before he can walk to the front, AD steps down from the car and joins Bani. He tells her that it was on an auspicious day that they have returned to Mumbai and that the time is now ripe for her to go and take revenge on all those who had wronged her. He then takes out a clean handkerchief from his pocket and gives it to Bani to wipe the vermilion from her forehead. Bani takes it and then starts walking towards the car. But AD and his body guards also follow her, effectively shielding her from JW. However, JW is now slightly suspicious and he keeps on thinking why is he feeling so strongly about Bani's presence, as if the wind blowing around him is carrying her very essence and smell. 😳
Pia, Jigs and Karuna are going to a Film premiere when Ranveer calls Pia to invite her to Bani's death anniversary puja. Pia is very rude to him and tells trhat she is very busy and doesn't have any time for any such stuff. And that in future if ranveer wanted to contact her, he should firstly contact her secretary. Ranveer is angry and tells Pia that he called her cos the elders wished him to do so, but in one way its good that she wouldn't be coming since Bani would then be freed of the evil spirit of Pia hovering around during her Puja. 😡😡🤢
In a separate car, AD's adopted sisters are discussing about Mumbai and the second sister is totally starstruck and wants to attend a premiere immediately so that she could meet the stars. The other two sistsers are pretty amused but they listen to her ramblings. The second sister decides that since they are in Mumbai now, they would shorten their names, keeping with the city's tradition. So the elder sister becomes Tanu, the second sister is Gayu and the third sister is . (sorry I forgot her name) 😭
The car in which Jigs, Pia and Karuna are traveling breaks down in the middle of the road and karuna decides to catch a cab and go and attend the premiere. Pia doesn't agree cos she feels that cabs are not covered by Press in premieres and she stays back while Jigs and Karuna goes ahead. Meanwhile, Pia tries to take lifts and ultimately is able to stop the car of the three sisters. Gayu is very happy when she learns that Pia is going to attend a premiere and offers her a lift. While traveling, they tell Pia that they have come to India with their brother AAD who had adopted them and that they also have another elder sister, Durga Dasgupta who loves them a lot. Pia tells them that they remind her of her own childhood but now things have changed completely. 🤢🤢🤢
At the Ghats, JW goes and joins his family for the shradh anniversary but he says that he feels Bani's presence all around him and is thus not very keen on performing the Puja. Rano tells him that he is feeling like that cos Bani is always in his heart, in his every breath. But JW is still not convinced. 😕😭
On another part of the Ghat, Bani approaches a Pandit and sits down for the Puja, after handing him the clay pot. The pandit asks her for whom would she be offering the Puja. Bani stays silent. But AD tells her that after death, the soul either reaches heaven or hell and then has to pay for its deeds in the mortal world. But in Bani's case, its different cos the souls for whom she's offering the Puja will be very much present here on the Earth but they will all have to pay for their misdeeds over here and burn in Hell's fire. All of them. 😕😭
Observations:
- Again RK uses his eyes excellently. His pathos is too great. 👍🏼
- PD is emerging as a very powerful actress and she is also using her eyes very well. The hurt, the deceit, the pain, the anger – everything is very well portrayed. 👍🏼
- RR is again very good, especially his hand movements. 👏👏
- The new 3 sisters are tooooooooo boring and so is their track. 🤢
- JPK are too unrepentant – seems their days are already numbered. 😡😡😡
