If you are a regular viewer of Uttaran, you would have noticed the absence of one of its prominent characters, Tapasya, played by Rashami Desai. The actress has not been shooting since a month as her track has failed to open up.

Not just Rashami, but Rishina Kandhari, who entered the show some time back as Gaurav Chopra's ex-wife and was seen in two episodes, has also been sitting at home. Says a source, "While Rashami is unfazed, Rishina is upset with the delay. The makers are trying to revive the love triangle and start the shoot soon. On the other hand, it is also rumoured that Rashami isn't giving time to the show as she has been travelling."
