she said at the filmfare press conference that she has been signed to window seat for the past year, and has always said that it stars ranbir and her, no indication of another lead. And its fine if it has alia in it, if the script requires a second lead.

It could be a small role for all we know. They say Ranbir-Katrina in Jagga jasoss as well, but there's another female role too. Alia confirmed she is not doing it. Anyways, I still think this is a baseless rumour. Ranbir said he suggested Alia to Imtiaz for WS and he casted her for Highway. So if there was a second role, they would have revealed it.
