Just a few lines with the 2 most favorite character of mine:
All she heard were guns firing, bullets zipping past, screams and moans from wounded, dying soldiers. Everywhere she looked she saw dead bodies and injured people...and blood...lots of it...pooled and scattered all around. She ran for her life because she wanted to go home.
She ran through chaos until a hand grabbed her from behind a wall and swung her whole body around. She looked up to see the familiar face of her jallad, holding his ancestral sword. He looked worried and relieved at the same. She sighed a breath or relief, placed her head on his chest and calmed herself down listening to the beat of his heart. Paro was finally home.
