The Evolution of Shaadi in Bollywood

Where there is a couple in love, the question "To marry or not to marry?" always pops up in Hindi films. From the 90s till now, the depiction and importance of weddings has evolved to keep up with the changing thoughts of the young generation.

From the prevalent arranged marriages to daring live in relationships, the leap has been spectacular. We wonder how Shaadi Ke Side Effects will show the pros and cons of what looks like the modern day couple (Farhan-Vidya)!

The evolution of "Shaadi" in Bollywood!

1. Arranged marriages

Good old Shuddh Desi Romance with a Babuji approved (yes, Alok Nath) reunion of two people who have never met before! Or even Socha Na Tha!

Judaai, because we don't know what the hell happened there. Sridevi sold her husband, Anil Kapoor. This was one strangely twisted turn of events and we don't recommend it!

13. Not so Shuddh Desi Romance

After Salaam Namaste's pre-marital pregnancy came to an amicable conclusion, Shuddh Desi Romance gave a thumbs up to live in relationships. Kamine haye re!
