I've heard a lot about WGM & the couples, but I am yet to actually watch that show. Can anyone tell me what WGM really is about? As in do they really live together & 'get married'?

WGM = We Got Married...

It's a reality show where two celebrities are paired up in a sort of "Fake marriage" and end up going through the motions of being married...so on the show they do various martial related things, first off going on dates, then doing wedding photoshoots...in the early seasons they each were given a house to decorate and sort of "live" in while they were shooting, altho none of the couples actually slept over or anything...it became wildly popular because people starting shipping the pairings in real life and some have even dated after their stint on the show ended...they've had all sorts of couples too, like noona couples, older man-young woman couple, one that was actually married in real life...and they've also had a "global edition" where Hongki (FT. Island) and Taekyeon (2PM) got "married" to two celebrities in foreign countries (Hongki with a Japanese model and Taec with Gui Gui from Taiwan)

The real pull with the show, initially, was how unscripted and funny it was...along the way, it lost a lot of its viewership cause people felt the show became more scripted...also WGM experiences a lot of rise and fall in ratings due to the pairings...when the public falls in love with a pair, they'll follow it very well...and some couples just haven't been a hit lol

If you're going to watch it...watch the first original season:
Ant Couple (Crown J and Seo In Young)
Romantic Couple (Alex & Shinae)

Some popular couples:
Lettuce Couple (Hyun Joong & Hwangbo) - this was a noona couple
Adam Couple (Jo Kwon & Ga In) - pretty funny couple, they later ended up on a sitcom playing twins...which added to the hilarity
YongSeo Couple (Seohyun & Jung Young Hwa)
Khuntoria Couple (Nickhun & Victoria)
SunHee Couple (Kwanghee & Sunhwa)
Jung-Jeong Couple (Jung Joo Young & Jeong Yumi) - one of the newer ones, they're pretty hilarious and popular right now
