Beautifully written ... you always write brilliantly, today you outdid yourself! And some awesome discussions here.

A day of revelations indeed ... Rudra is prepared to marry Paro, he has acknowledged for the first time that she might NOT break, thereby acknowledging that she is as strong as him ... ardhnarishwar ... two equal halves of a whole. Yes, he's taken on the duties of judge, jury and executioner, much to his father's and kaka's distress ... AND he is even ready to go the whole way, i.e marriage. As someone said in this thread, this is probably the only way Rudra will ever agree to marriage ... virtually at gunpoint, under force. The same for Paro, unless under extreme pressure, there is no way she would marry the killer of her husband. So it does seem that the marriage is going to happen.

Loved the scene of Paro hesitantly putting her hand over Rudra's for the aarti ... she is also resigned to the marriage, if Rudra doesn't draw back ... and however reluctantly she may enter into the relationship, once she is his wife, she will be with him always.

The light from Paro's mirrors shining on Rudra's face ... blinding him for a moment, but when he opens his eyes ... he sees Paro. He may try to close his eyes and his heart to her as much as he can, but when his heart opens, it will be to let Paro in ... it already is.

I didn't read much into the sword symbolism, except that he will always be there to protect Paro ... the sword is to be raised to protect the weak and innocent, and she is both. And we saw that ... he tried to intimidate her, manhandle her ... and didn't get far at all. He is her protector always.

Thakur, thakurain, Mohini ... all the different players getting into position ... this week of maha Shivratri will bring in some dhamakas.

I also feel that during the dhamaka, there will be something to get Rudra off the hook of losing his job, but it may happen only after the wedding is done ... and Paro will also realise that he had reason to keep her hidden, her life is really under threat ...
So they are married, and tied to each other ... but the ostensible reason for it is gone ... the first curtain will lift from the many layers of blind prejudice for both of them ... he will see her as an innocent, or at least partly so... and she will see him as a protector, and not only a BSD jallad ...
But lots more to come in their journey ... the prejudice only lifts for them as individuals ...

Diya, thank you for your kind words. 😃
@ Ardhnarishwar: 👏 That's just brilliant!!
@ The blinding light: 👏 And another brilliant analogy for the MU.
@ The dhamaaka will get Rudra off the hook: I hope that comes true. I seem to have read somewhere at the start of the serial that she'll hate him at first, and by the time she knows his truth, it will be too late and he will hate her. So I really hope that the CVs have changed their original plot and what you predict comes true and that we are not left with hate on his side. I really want that once they are married, they find there was no reason for it, but make the best of it.

Thanks. 😃 I too really hoped that the sword had accidentally, on purpose, found its mark in Kakisa. One can always hope...😆

Lovely post Sabs!! Very very insightful, I must say!!

The episode had lot of hidden meanings and revelations!! I feel that sword unsheathing was symbolic! More like, if Rudra did not have his weapon at hand that he has mastered, he will still protect those he cares about or love with any other weapon at hand when the need arises! The sword being a family heirloom also signifies that his weapon, a strong weapon to attack the enemy is his family!!! He may use relations not to save himself but to use them tactfully to protect the family's honor!!

I don't know if I am making any sense at all here! But what my gut feeling tells me is that the family and the relationship equations within are soon going to change! Another symbolism with the sword as I interpret is, it was given on the occassion of a wedding ceremony! Indicating may be the need to use it during further ceremonies because right now Rudra is without his gun and may need a weapon to protect the family from any unexpected attacks from Tejawat's men?

Revelation of Thakurain as Rudra's mother fell flat on the audience. Thanks to the spoilers floating around. Hope CVs takes note of it and stop releasing the videos. The suspense is killed. Wonder if I was the only one who thought Thakurain wasn't somehow happy about hearing from her BIL that Rudra is getting married. I didn't expect shocked and worried face of Thakurain when she met her BIL. Well may be I was hallucnating!! Why is she tense? Does she know anything? Will she help Rudra? Only time will tell I guess.

Paro I find sometimes a bit dumb! Agreed, she hasn't done anything wrong but a secret is a secret and as such should not be voiced so loudly that Kakisa behind the door can get a clear idea about it!!! I guess Paro needs a demo to see what Rudra has been telling her all along about Tejawat only then will she learn to obey him!!! Her life is at stake too! Dumbo doesn't understand!

Anyway, as you say it was the day of revelations!! All will be beautifully coming together by the week-end!! And the story then will take a turn for good! Only Bholenath knows what's in store for us!! That is if CVs does keep quiet about upcoming tracks!! But have to agree with you that I do not want Rudra to lose his BSD job at ANY COST!! Don't mind if Paro is forced into this marriage with Rudra. He is a far better option than any other person for her. Hope she realizes this soon enough. Paro ke liye ek dhamaka demo about Tejawat toh banta hai na?!

Oh, any one more thing! I too think that amidst all this somehow Rudra-Paro wedding too will take place with all the rituals and pomp!!

Mozart 🤗thank you!!
Some brilliant insights here:
@ The Sword as family: Brilliant symbolism! 👏 And you are so right. How can the family equations remain unaltered with all that they are going through.
@ The Thakurain's shock: Yes it was shock. I saw it too, but let it pass. But now that you mention it, it seems as if the shock was for the 'wedding in three days' and not the wedding alone. I thought the timeline caused her concern, and wondered whether it was because the wedding was so sudden, or because it coincided with Mahashivratri and the Mela. Not sure about this.
@ Paro's secret: Yes, as SJ mentioned in her PPP, the rule of the thumb is that when you have a secret, make sure the doors are open and you talk loud enough and minutely enough so that all key details are outed (of course she put it better).
But yes, the CVs have made sure that there is more drama, and very possibly a threat to Paro's life, to make her realise that Rudra is telling the truth and is not her enemy.
@ Rudra's potential job loss: That, Mozart, is what I am praying will not happen. That somehow through all this he'll keep his job. But I fear that job is on the chopping block, and all these lengthy reflections on what his job means to him are building the case for the fall-out of what will happen when he is kicked out.
