No Show Awards??!!??

This has been the usual trend lately in Bwood that only a handful of celebrities attend award shows i.e the ones receiving an award. But it was really disheartening to see not even a handful of celebrities at the Zee cine awards..there was only DP, Ranveer, PC and SRK!! I😒t is sad the way Bwood is functioning, the fact that celebrities are willing to attend only if they are winning an award!! At the same I understand juries have goofed up many times and many celebrities were upset that the wrong actor/actress is getting awarded!! I wont be surprised very soon if the whole award shows get scrapped!! Filmfare used to be one of the most prestigous awards once upon a time, but not anymore!! so what do u guys think and what should award shows should start doing to avoid losing its credibility???!!!

All these shows are 90% rigged. Some celebs feel that there is no point in them attending hence they don't attend. Even some that are nominated don't attend. They have better things in their life to do than attend award functions. They have personal life, professional life...In awards show today, you hardly see the elder generation of stars minus a few like Shahrukh and others. It's more of the newer lot you see because they are the nominees. It is what it is. Awards are there for recognition of work in the film industry. That's the sole purpose along with entertainment.

there are so many award shows and none of them really have any credibility anymore. theres no way all the actors can go to every single one. theres filmfare, zee cine, big star, star screen, iifa, stardust and im sure theres more im not remembering. it seems like toifa only happened last year and luckily for me it had ranbir, srk, katrina, priyanka, aish-abhi, anushka, illeana and others so i got to see them but these award shows are meaningless

Sadly that is how it is. If SRK attends any function the organizers have to give him an award.
Actresses like Vidya and parineeti were seen in all award shows previous years as they were winning. This time it was a complete no show from them.
Actors who perform or win,only attend the award shows. That's the trend 😡.

I still have faith on Filmfare..they still seem to be genuine..Rest of them more of depends on who is attending and who is not..😆..

The first problem is that awards have seriously lost credibility, recognition, value and worth in the industry and for the audience.

There are just too many award shows happening and it's a freaking business. A crappy one at that. Everyone knows it's fake and that's why no one cares

It's getting worse and worse- earlier awards used to be a celebration and you would see Almost the entire film industry at the show, nominated or not... Winner or loser... Now that's an impossible task. Flash to present day we barely had 5 big stars at filmfare this year. They need to really have an intervention and fix this issue, otherwise the future of award shows will be... They will show winners via recorded speeches lol
