Randeep Hooda waits for Naseeruddin Shah's feedback on his performance

Randeep Hooda has been getting positive feedback for his role in the Imtiaz Ali film, Highway. So while his friends and colleagues have only showered praise on him, the actor is waiting for approval from another quarter. Says a source, "Randeep considers Naseersaab his mentor as he has worked with him in many theatre productions. He has also acted with him in a few films and is hence, keen on showing him the film.
Accordingly, he has been working out plans to arrange a screening for Naseersaab." The source adds that just last week before the release, Randeep had organised a screening and personally invited the veteran actor, but the latter couldn't make it at the last minute. " Randeep wants Naseersaab to watch the film; he has been telling his friends that he will only believe the flattering reviews if Naseersaab approves of his performance in the film," says the source.

It may be pointed out that during the early stages of his career, Randeep had done acting workshops with Naseeruddin Shah at the National School of Drama. "He believes that he has learnt everything to know about acting from Naseersaab; he openly tells everyone that he owes his success to the senior actor. The two share a deep bond and Randeep is now looking forward to hearing Naseersaab's honest opinion," says the source.
