After promising Khushi, NK hugged Khushi one more time saying, "Bhai is very lucky to have you in his life. Don't leave him at any time. Please... and trust me he is not the person what you heard yesterday... he is really a nice man. Don't come to any conclusions. We will find out the person he said that he is in love with. I think you are the person, he is in love with after I saw his concern and care for you. But please promise me you wont leave him at any time. Promise me."

Khushi is about to promise NK, they heard

"What promise NK Bhai? Which promise you are asking from Choti?" asked Anjali.

After seeing Arnav, NK forgot about the promise, which he and Payal gave to Khushi, for not telling to anybody about her love for Arnav. He was about to go to Arnav and tell him about Khushi, Payal caught his hand and pressed slightly to stop him. Without seeing Khushi or Payal, NK controlled himself from breaking their promise. Everyone looked at him confusedly.

"NK, I think Di asked you something. Why are giving weird looks instead of answers? What's wrong with you? And, Khushi what promise he is asking from you?" asked Arnav with slight irritation in his voice

All the three, Khushi, Payal and NK got tensed after hearing Arnav's irritated voice. Khushi composed herself and said

"Nothing Arnav Ji... he is just asking about some help in studies. He needs my help in library. I said I would help him. So, he asked me to promise. That's all" lied Khushi.

"Khushi..., if you don't want to say the matter, then leave it. Why are you trying to say lie when you can't. You know he is best in his English and from childhood he is preparing his notes going to libraries. Moreover, I know about you and my brother. So, don't try one more time. You can't lie to me Khushi.," said Arnav with a smirk.

Both NK and Payal looked at each other and then looked at Khushi, after seeing Arnav's smirk. Khushi nodded her head as giving the answer to Arnav's comment. She also smiled at him.

They all sat in the canteen to have their lunch. But the happy-inside NK stopped everyone saying

"Di, Bhai... why don't we go out for lunch? I'm really in happy mood"

Khushi got tensed about NK. She is really fearing thinking what if NK said everything to everyone.' Both Payal and NK pressed her palms, assuring her to not to worry, as they both sat beside her. Arnav and Anjali looked at each other. Anjali asked Arnav with her eyes what's the matter' for which she got I don't know look from as answer.

"What's the matter NK... you are looking quite happy. And what are you hiding from us? Tell us."

"OH come on... Aman Bhai... do I need a reason for having lunch outside? Or do I need to have a reason to be happy? They yes... I have a reason... I have happiness with me... I mean Khushi... she accepted my friendship... and she told me that she will help me"

"But NK... she accepted our friendship at the starting when we met her. Do you remember? At dean office... her first day in college... when our seniors went to dean room for fresher party - that day only she accepted our friendship... then why suddenly today you are celebrating?" asked Lavanya.

Everyone looked at NK for answer. NK also looked at everyone, but his look stayed on Khushi's face that is looking at him with tension. He smiled sheepishly at her and said

"Because I want to celebrate it today... is anyone has any problem?"

Nodding their heads, everybody looked at NK suspiciously...

"Why should we have problem NK? It's just a lunch outside, right...? Then what should be our problem? You no need to say all these..., you can directly ask us go out... with you," said Akash, understanding NK's condition.

"Thank you so much Akash Bhai... at least you understands me... except you no one is here to understand me" said NK dramatically trying to change other's tearing look on him.

"Shut up NK... don't be drama queen. Let us go for lunch. I'm really feeling hungry" said Arnav irritated with NK's dramatic words.

NK, Payal and Khushi moved out behind Arnav and others sighing deeply. Suddenly Arnav stopped on his tracks, turned back and asked Payal and NK to move. They looked at Khushi teasingly and went to others, leaving Arnav and Khushi behind.

Khushi is really feeling tensed in Arnav's presence.

"I'm sorry Arnav Ji..." said Khushi suddenly

"Sorry? Why Khushi?" asked confused Arnav.

"I shouldn't behave like that yesterday. There is no mistake of yours and I really talked rubbish with you. I'm really sorry for that..."

Arnav got alerted.

"Actually I was disturbed yesterday and I... I was sca..." she couldn't say that again

"You were scared about me." completed Arnav.

Khushi looked at him blankly. Shock and confusion were clearly visible in her eyes.

"Don't get confusion that, how I know... Yesterday you said me that Khushi. Remember when I was dropping you at your hostel... you said that in my car. But can I ask you something Khushi?"

Khushi nodded her head. She is still in guilt, embarrassment, shock.

"Can I know what made you to scare about me? I mean, did I do any wrong with you? If I did... I'm really sorry Khushi. But..."

"No Arnav Ji... you didn't do anything... I was just confused and scared... when I heard they saying those words... I really get sca... scare... scared... In that fear, I don't know, what I said... I'm really sorry Arnav Ji... I shouldn't do that... I'm really sorry..." saying this Khushi burst out in cry touching her forehead with his palms in her hands.

Arnav was shocked to see her crying like this... he immediately released his palms from her hold and held her shoulders.

"Shh... shh Khushi... don't cry... it's ok... relax... I didn't feel any bad... just relax... don't cry please... it's ok..." Arnav tried to calm her. After sometime... she calmed down and wiped her tears saying...

"Really Arnav Ji... didn't you feel bad when I said?"

He nodded his head in acceptance.

Khushi sighed deeply. Before she says something, they both heard Aman calling

"Arnav..." and throwing car keys

Arnav looked at Aman, before keys hurt his face Khushi held them before Arnav's face. At the same time, Arnav also tried to catch the keys. But he held Khushi's hand. They both looked at each other for some seconds, and got disturbed by Aman again saying, "I'm taking your SUV will all. You and Khushi come in Akash's car. We are leaving. I think you know where to come" Arnav nodded his head in answer. Aman left from there while winking with naughty smile at Arnav. Muttering unbelievable' Arnav turned to Khushi and said, "I'm really feeling hungry. Ah shall we move Khushi?"

"Ah... Arnav Ji..."

"Yeah Khushi... tell me... is there any problem? Are you still scared to come with me?" said Arnav seeing her tensed face. He is not feeling good with her expression.

"Ah... No... Arnav Ji... my hand..."

"What?" asked confused Arnav.

"If you leave my hand, I will be more comfortable to come with you..." said Khushi looking at her feet.

When he heard her words, then only he noticed that, he is still holding her palm tightly with his rough hands. He immediately looked at her and left her hand. He looked at everywhere but not her.

"Ah... keys..." she handed over keys to him

He immediately took the keys and went towards parking. She silently followed him, blushing...

After some time of drive, he broke the silence saying

"Sorry Khushi... I... I really don't know that I'm holding your hand... I'm really sorry. And don't get scared..."

Khushi smiled a little, and said, "It's ok Arnav Ji... I'm not scared now... I'm relaxed" she gave him a genuine smile.

"Khushi... you are saying something there near canteen... tell me now..."

She again turned into little emotional and tensed mode. Sensing her tension, Arnav held her hand and said, "No need to get tensed Khushi. I'm here with you... you said you got tensed after hearing someone's words. Who was that someone... and what are those words? Tell me Khushi"

She is thinking whether to say or not... Arnav looked at Khushi, who is in deep thoughts. He didn't disturbed her as he knew that she might thinking about the incident, she faced yesterday... he gave her space to think and tell him by her own. Of course, he asked her but he can't force her for answering his question. He will wait till she says... till she is comfortable with him. He don't want to scare her anymore. She hesitated for some time... she looked at Arnav, for some support. Arnav understood what she wants. He smiled at her and pressed her hand.

"It's ok Khushi... you can say... no need to get scared... whatever you heard tell me. I want to know what made you to scare about me. It is really important to me to know. Whoever they are you no need to get scare... I'm here with you... for you... and I'll be always there for you... whenever u need me... come on Khushi... tell me, what's bothering you."

Khushi had tears in her eyes after hearing Arnav's assurance. She really felt blessed for having Arnav beside her. She remembered NK's words about Arnav. NK is right. Arnav Ji is a good man indeed' she thought.

She composed herself and told everything whatever she heard from those three ladies... the day before. She also said how much she is scared after hearing that words.

"they said that you are talking about me to your friends, in bad way. With that..."

"Bad way means... what they said as I said... tell everything clearly Khushi. I need to know everything..." interrupted Arnav.

Khushi hesitated to say those words... but looking at his face she couldn't stop herself from saying. "They said He is saying his friends about her. He is saying he couldn't control himself seeing her in front of him. How shamelessly he is saying that he wants her. How disgusting...' I really got scared Arnav Ji... I really tensed when the thought - what if that girl they are saying is me - came into my mind. I really got scared. I'm really sorry for trusting them on you... I'm really sorry Arnav Ji... I shouldn't do that and I shouldn't talk like that with you. I really..." she stopped saying further as Arnav got call from his siblings. When finished his call they arrived at the hotel. They went inside and had their dinner along with their group. After finishing their lunch Arnav tried to talk with Khushi, but he never get the chance. He sighed deeply hoping he will get time later. All left for college.

After reaching college, Khushi's classmate came to her and said

"Khushi, one man came here asking about you."

"who?"

"I don't know... I said him that you will come and ask him to sit in library. He is waiting for you there"

"I will check with him... thank you for your help" said Khushi.

"It is ok Khushi... bye" Khushi's classmate left from there. All her friends listened their conversation.

"Who is that man Khushi Ji?" asked NK

"I don't know NK Ji... I need to check... I will meet you all later... thanks for the lunch..." saying this she left for library not before looking at Arnav.

Everybody is curious about the person waiting for Khushi. NK wants to check with him. So he said "I will go with Khushi Ji..."

"No need... she can do her work for herself... you just go to your class. I think from morning you didn't attended any class. Now go to your class room" ordered Arnav.

Nodding his head slowly, NK and others went to their classes. Both Arnav and Aman looked at each other before leaving for classes.

After reaching library, Khushi searched for the person waiting for her. When her eyes caught the person, she ran to that person and hugged him tightly. He was stumbled two feet back, to balance himself with her. He held her tightly in his arms.

"Pooh...!"

He looked at everybody who is looking at Khushi, as she hugged a man like that, with such a force. But she is not observing all the looks she getting from others. so he broke the hug and held her shoulders

"Pooh... "

"Shyam Bhai..." she hugged him crying loudly. Shyam observed somebody in library relaxing after knowing their relation, and somebody disappointed. Khushi - his pooh... his darling sister... she doesn't care about others. But she will give the answers to the people without knowing. He smiled little. He excused themselves from library and led her out to the canteen. After reaching canteen then both sat besides and talked a lot things. It's already so many days after these two besties meet.

"Tell me Pooh... who is that boy, which you loved?" asked Shyam.

"I don't love any boy... he is a man... complete man... and I still love him." shouted Khushi back.

Shyam who knows Khushi well, "Ok... Ok... can you please tell me the details? Is he from your college? Can you show him to me? and can I know what do you mean by you still love him? Are you mad to love him after rejection?"

"Yes... Bhai... I still love him. Actually what happened..." she told him everything from the starting. He told him about her secret phone calls, her confession, his confession, and his care for her, her listening those words from those three girls, after her discussion with NK and Payal. She told him about Arnav's soft and caring behaviour with her. Everything she told to Shyam. Shyam also listened very intently what she said. After hearing everything, he said in a little harsh tone.

"Are you mad Pooh...? Phone calls, crazy lover... are you seriously thought it would work? Without knowing, who was the person calling and proposing, no one will react for that phone call. How can u expect him to accept your proposal? If I'm in that situation, I never ever accept that proposal. How can you conclude that he is not in love with you? I think he said he is in love with someone just to get rid of that unknown girl's phone calls. But not sure... I really appreciate your friends NK and Payal to put some thought in to your brain. I never expected you to be this much careless. Don't behave like a fool Khushi. Love is very serious matter. How can you behave like this? And tell me his name. And I want to see the person whom you loved. I'm..."

Khushi stopped him from saying further.

"No... I won't show him to you. You will go and tell him everything and will spoil everything. What if he rejects after you say everything to him? What if he is love with another girl seriously? I don't want to face that situation Bhai. Now I'm trying to find out the truth whether he is in love with some girl or not. I asked NK Ji and Payal to help me. They are ready for helping me. So, you forget to get introduced with him." Said Khushi

"No Khushi... I won't say anything to him. I just want to see him, that's all. Please..."

She nodded her head declining his request. Sighing deeply in disappointment, Shyam asked "At least tell me his name..."

"Arnav..." said Khushi smiling in fact blushing slightly.

"Oyyy..., why are you blushing now? I just asked the name. I'm not asking about your marriage date. If you introduce him to me, then I can fix your marriage with him, if you want. But you aren't. So, stop blushing." " Shyam teased his little sister and said again "And one more thing..., your bhabhi and kids are asking about you. Why don't you come with me now? You can come back on Monday... if we leave now in three hours we will reach... tomorrow we can spend time and Monday you can come back... will you come with me?"

"Sure Bhai... we will go... first we will go to hostel then will from there. I want to introduce you to my warden. Then only she will send me. Why don't we ask Jiji and jeejaji to come there? It's already so many days we met with others," said super exited Khushi.

"Good idea... Let me call Keshi (Khushi and Shyam's sister) first..."

"No first you talk with Jeejaji. If he is free now... then we can leave together. If he is free then jiji also free."

"OK" saying this Shyam dialled their jeejaji's number and invited them. He also agreed and they fixed the time to go together.

"Ok... jeejaji said they will also come. And we will leave in two hours. They said they will come directly to the station. We better leave to your hostel and leave for station. Do you have any classes now? Shall we move?"

"Yeah Bhai... today I don't have any classes. Actually I'm just going to hostel only. Just now we finished our lunch..."

"WE? With whom you went for lunch?" asked Shyam.

"Woh... Aman Bhai, Anjali Di, Akash Ji, NK Ji, Payal, Lavanya and... and..." she couldn't say

"And...?" somewhat he can guys what name will come after this and'

"And Arnav Ji... NK Ji offered lunch to everyone. So we went to restaurant and had lunch there."

"Ahaan... good... phone calls, lunch and canteen meets... hmmm good... good... but still you are not ready to introduce him." he teased his sister again.

Khushi blushed hard hearing her brother's teasing. "Enough Shyam... stop your teasing. We are not going for any dates. Ok... so just stop it. And I hope I can introduce him to you. But not now Shyam... I think it will take time. But trust me... if I introduce him to anyone... you are the first one to get introduced. Till then don't tell to anyone please" requested Khushi with tension filled face.

Shyam never see his sister like this. She is very strong girl. He immediately held her hand and said "Pooh... don't get tensed... I won't say anything to Babu Ji... or anyone else... ok... you relax... it will between you and me. I won't say to anyone if you want me to say... ok"

"Thank you Bhai... I don't want to anyone know about this."

"But Khushi... don't take much time... when it comes to life matters we shouldn't make things late..."

Khushi hugged him and said "Sure Bhai... I will remember this..."

After that, they talked for some more time. But they are not aware of two people who are observing them with evil eyes. They left the place, when Shyam and Khushi moved to go.

When Shyam and Khushi going out, they heard NK calling them. They both turned back, and saw him coming towards then by running. Khushi smiled at NK and turns to Shyam and said

"He is NK... my friend. Then she also noticed Payal and Lavanya coming to them. She also introduces them to Shyam.

"I'm really thankful to you people for your support to my Khushi... thanks a lot" he said with utmost honesty.

"Don't say that... she is our friend... it's our duty to take care of her... and you no need to worry. Because my Bhai is there to safeguard her. Then nothing will happen" said NK, looking at Khushi. Shyam looked at Khushi.

"He is younger brother of Arnav Ji, Akash Ji and Anjali Di" said Khushi understanding Shyam's doubt. He nodded his head and once again thanked NK for his family support to Khushi. They all talked for some time. Khushi and Shyam went to her hostel, after bidding bye to her friends. Khushi is smiling and very happy after sharing everything with his best friend cum brother, unaware of upcoming storm in her life...
