Saraswatichandra completes a year of airing tomorrow

Saraswatichandra, the love saga on Star Plus is set to complete a year of airing tomorrow (25 February 2014).

The show initially launched by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, later went to the production house Sphere Origins.

Its leads Gautam Rode (Saras) and Jennifer Winget (Kumud) have now become a favourite of television lovers.

And with the show hitting the one year mark, the cast and crew are very happy.

They had a small cake cutting celebration on the set today. Let's check out what some of the actors from the show had to say.

"It's been a great journey with the show and I hope it continues to do well. Viewers have given us so much love. Saras as a character has been very special having seen a tremendous growth in this one year," said Gautam.

"I am really grateful to the fans to have given us so much love. I never thought I would get appreciated so much on a TV show. I hope the fans continue loving us and our show," added Monica Bedi.

Shared Varun Kapoor, "It has been a very interesting journey with the show. Having been roped in for a small role I was retained after the character was loved by the masses. And having got married recently in real life and in the show as well, I can actually relate to the character very much. Keep watching the show and continue supporting us."
