PART 25: Chances!!

Khushi came out of the washroom all dressed up in Kurti and PJ. She had a towel wound around her wet hair. Arnav came in with the tray of morning refreshments. He kept it on the coffee table and ran his eyes through the room in search of his Kuku. Then his eyes went to the silhouette in the poolside. He went near her who was untying her towel and started drying her hair and held her from behind making her jerk.

Khushi: You scared me!!

Arnav: Oops!! Is it? But what are you doing? Enna Panra?

Khushi(With her towel clad hands on hip): Patta pagal la Nilavu theduren!!

Searching for the moon in morning sky.

Arnav laughed the next second and Khushi joined him.

Arnav: Arey my buddhu Kuku. I am asking about something else. Looks like you are all dressed up? I thought you will come out and dress.

Khushi: Aww? Why will I, when you have built the bathroom itself in size of room?

Arnav: So that I can take some chances?

Khushi: Besharam!! Roadside Romeo. Cheapo. Chi po!!

Meenu: Wow What a rhyming Khushi darling... Calling the cheapo and asking him to Go(po)? Not done!!

Arnav: Husband ko Chi keh rahi ho? Yeh hai bharatiya shamsaan?

Aww? Calling husband Chi? Is this your Indian graveyard?

Khushi: Annu? You dint tell me that you are poor in hindi? That is Sanskaar. Not Shamsaan.

Arnav: Err... Why should Hindi be so complicated. Well I was in Australia from my teenage. There was one weird guy who always confuses the Hindi words. That got stuck to me too. That's why I don't try pure hindi.

Khushi: Hey Ram!! I thought that ASR means Angry Singh Raizada. But you were always a cheap flirt and now you are also a funny guy. And world thinks that you are THE ASR.

Arnav: Oh really? May be for world. But not for my wife. I am Roadside Romeo, Laad Govenor, Annu, Cheapo, Mr. Angry Bird for my wife.

Khushi: ISHHH... Too cheesy. Now come lets have something. I am hungry.

Both went inside and started having their morning tea and coffee. Arnav had it fast and started drying her hair slowly erupting unknown feelings in her.

Arnav: Khushi, do you know to drape a Saree?

Khushi: Hmmm...

Arnav: Answer me!!

He asked stopping his actions and sitting in front of her on the floor by bed.

Khushi: What?

Arnav: unbelievable!! I asked whether you know to drape to drape a saree or not?

Khushi: Oh.. Yeah I know. Why?

Arnav: shhh... Cha. How can you?

Khushi: Is knowing to drape a saree a crime in Tamil Nadu?

Arnav: yes for me.

Khushi: Aww???

Arnav: I thought you will say no and I will teach you to drape. Cha cha. Romance ka sathyanash.

Khushi: dai!! You never leave a chance. Do you?

Arnav: Nope. Being a businessman I never leave a chance and YOU SHOULD TAKE CHANCES IN LIFE KUKU!!

Khushi: Now will you tell me, why I should wear a saree or will you keep on flirting?

Arnav: I can never get tired of flirting with you. But looks like here I don't stand a chance!!!

Khushi: tsk tsk. Poor you Annu.

Arnav: Anyways. Today it's your first day as Raizada bahu though Dada Dadi are not here, you can do the ritual in my personal den too. Dadi has set up a mandir here though I don't believe such things. So officially as my wife, you have to perform Arthi down and cannot escape as Dadi has called and said that she will join through video call. Damn than Aman.

Khushi giggled.

Khushi: modern family. Modern grahpravesh. Now technological morning Aarthi? Not bad Mr. Raizada.

Khushi pushed Arnav out of the room giggling and went to change in saree.

Arnav was impatiently waiting downstairs while Skype video call was turned on with Dada Dadi and Aman Lavanya on the other side. Seeing his impatience Dadi and Lavanya giggled while Arnav glared angrily at them.

Dadi: Chote, she is coming from upstairs. Not from the sky. See your face Hehehe..

Lavanya: Bhai!! Really? When Aman used to run behind you with files, I thought that you will be having files on your Suhaag Raat too. Alas!! Looks like Khushi changed you. So Much impatience?

Dada: Who Karen bhi kya? Huh!! Do you remember Devyaniji? Next day to our marriage when Maa called you for Arthi, you never came down as you were feeling Shy. At last I had to bring you down with hiding your face completely in your pallu.

Arnav: Dadi? Really? But now it looks like you have hid dadaji in your pallu.

Dadi went red while all others where Laughing hard.

Meenu: What a family. Mohabbat at 60🤣

Dadi: Shut up all of you. Chote!!? Chote!!? Suniye ji.. looks like Pari has come.

All giggled seeing Arnav's open mouth.

Yes Arnav stood there like a statue with his mouth open wide as Khushi descended down wearing one of her beautiful kancheepuram saree with gold border. She had the pallu over head showing her gold maang tika and her delicate curves creating havoc in him. Her bare was playing peek a boo with him and the waist band was not helping him. Suddenly he came out of his reverie as he heard a giggle and a snap.

Lavanya and Dadi: Close your mouth. Else housefly will enter. We never knew you had such big mouth!!

Khushi was the one who snapped her fingers in front of him. But as she took a look at him she was stunned. He was wearing a gold and red dhoti style sherwani just contrast to her saree. He was out of the world handsome. She couldn't think of this day with Aran in any way. She was glad that Arnav was here with her today. But wait. Why was he anxious? She went upto him with a questioning look.

Arnav: Uh.. woh..

Khushi: What?

Arnav: The dhoti!!

Khushi: What is it with dhoti?

Arnav: Looks like it open anytime.

Meenu: The great businessman's dhoti problem🤣

She looked scandalous at him. Then she started laughing like a mad leaving others to wonder what is wrong with her.

Dadi: Khushi? What happened? What did chote say?

Khushi: Dammu!! He said that his dhoti.. will.. Open..

She laughed again while Arnav pouted cutely.

Dada: Aww Poor chote. In marriage I was with you. Now what will you do akele akele? Where is the belt?

Khushi: WHAT? Dadu? He really dint know to? In marriage how did he?

Dadi and Aman: We were with him and saw to that the belt was fastened tight enough to relax him.

Khushi: Unbelievable!! Arnav!!

She placed her hands on her hips. He glared at aman and mouthed YOU ARE FIRED while Lavanaya giggled.

Meenu: Bichara!! Gets atleast a 1000 times fired everyday. Well he is the only employee who stays in a corp after firing so many times I suppose😆

Arnav: shall we do the aathi instead of discussing my dhoti?

They headed to the mandir and Khushi did the Aarthi. Dadi had tears in her eyes while Dada silently pressed her shoulder pulling her close to him giving her his strength.

Dadi: looks like dream come true. our Pari is with us.

Dada: Your dream always comes true till I am alive.

Meenu: Some love are for eternity 😃

Dadi put her head on his shoulders and both elders and youngsters had content smile on their face. Khushi offered the barfi to him in prashad.

Arnav: Wow... barfi?

Khushi: Yeah. Mami sent some with me. So I kept them as prashad. You like them don't you?

Arnav: like? I love them..

Khushi: I thought.. but how does Mami know that?

Arnav was caught a minute that Dadaji came for his rescue.

Dada: She must have kept it for you. And it's a ritual during bidaai na? they should send you with gifts and sweets. So she must have kept. Don't ponder too much Pari. Chote!! Did you take her for sight seeing?

Khushi's eyes widened in surprise.

Khushi: Dadu!! Did you call me Pari?

Dada: Uh.. I..

Khushi: Will you call me that? It feels good.

All sighed in relief.

Arnav: Ok Kuku, go and get ready.Dadaji dadi bye!! We will call you after returning. BYE BYE!!

Saying he cut the video chat and pushed Khushi to their room asking her to wear some thick casuals.

In hurry Khushi left her mobile downstairs. Arnav changed to his winter casuals. As he came out of his room after changing, Khushi's mobile rang in the living room.

He went to attend it as Khushi was still changing. Well, he was not at all surprised by the caller.

Daksh: Hello!! Khushi ma! How are you? When he caught you last night, for minute I was at loss of breath. Did he do anything to you?

Arnav: I think I know to better care of my wife C.H.I.T.H.A.P.P.A!!

Daskh: Arnav!!

Arnav: ASR for you. Looks like its hard for you to follow my words.

Daksh: What!

Arnav: I asked you to stay away from my WIFE!!

Daksh: I am not interfering in your life.

Arnav: Make it OUR life. Do you think by making her bend for your ways you can catch hold of what you want? Then let me make it clear!! You are wrong here.

Daksh: Its not like that.

Arnav: Don't think that I dono you. I know you better than yourself. So stay away. Better don't bring the worst out of me. It wont do good for you.

Daksh: Ok Ok!! But let me atleast talk to her. I want ensure
Arnav: Stage your dramas somewhere else. My wife is happy with me. Just cut THE DAMN CALL!!

WHO IS IT ARNAV??

Hearing Khushi, Arnav immediately cut the call and switched her mobile. He turned to her saying.

Arnav: NOTHING!!

But was silenced with the sight in front of him sameway she was silenced too.

Meenu: I am silenced too.. Lets meet in next update..

Well anticipate something hot next time😉
