Did Anas introduce
Rati 'as his
girlfriend' at a
recent award
function?
The yesteryear song Khullam khulla pyaar karenge
hum dono, iss duniya se nahi darenge hum dono'
definitely seems to suit TV stars Anas Rashid and
Rati Pandey.
The couple has been making public appearances
hand-in-hand, and though they seem to be very
much in love, they are yet to go official about it.
But, as per sources, if not in public, Anas and Rati
have come out in open about their affair in their
personal friend circle.
At a recent award function held in Dubai, Anas
apparently walked in to the venue with Rati and
introduced her as his girlfriend'.
Hmm..interesting.
When we buzzed Anas about it, he said, "It's not
the first time when I and Rati walked into an
award function together. Apart from that we were
in Dubai and it wasn't like being in Bhutan or
Bangladesh. People are progressive there. The
funniest part is that while you're a struggling
actor nobody really cares about what you do but
the minute you get fame everything that you do is
noticed. I don't think I want to stop doing things I
like doing even if people are going to write about
it. I like being a free bird."
Which means you never introduced Rati as your
better half at the function? "Not at all. In fact I
did not even know that she was going there till the
last day. However, when I learnt about her being
there I extended my stay by two days. Initially I
was to come back in a day," said the actor.
Now that's really interesting. Isn't it? Anas wanted
to spend some quality time with good friend Rati
on Valentine's eve, it seems (the function was in
that time span). It's rather strange that he would
not go public about his love relationship but stay on
for Rati at Dubai to be with her.
So are they really in love. What's the equation?
"No. I've never given any commitment to Rati ever.
She is a beautiful girl and if I feel the need to
marry her I will make it public. But I leave the
decision of my wedding on my parents. They can fix
my marriage with any girl of their choice," he
averred.
We also tried contacting Rati about the same but
she did not revert.
Well, we wonder yeh rishta kya kehlata hai (wink). 🤣
