I missed IF and specially you and Smita!!! Am so happy that Smita has started this FF...it's a great stress-buster...hope to see lots of updates without long gaps :P

Thank you, Rashmi! 😊
Smita, sorry, lakhon lakhon sorry, for my very late entry...
First of all, I believe this is the first story, at least the first one I have ever read which deals with Khushi losing part of memory as a result of the aftermath of her wedding where her Arnavji rejects her. Thank you for taking this up.
Prologue
Dadi's venom had worked. But at such a great price. Arnav Singh Raizada had let go of the only chance of happiness he had ever had in his life. Because he had believed in Dadi, how could a son ever allow himself to be associated with a person who had the remotest link with the other woman in his parent's lives. The woman whom he believed to have propelled his mother towards suicide. No child can ever do that.
Part 1
When I first started reading this, I had thought that Khushi had lost only those parts of her memory which were painful - like her first meet with Arnavji, her being humiliated, everything that led to the wedding that did not take place. But there are also memories which were pleasant which proved to be elusive, thus proving that she had not put Arnav in a place where she did not want to venture to.
And its great to see the old, spunky Khushi back, who even after an accident which is traumatic, to say the least, has decided to take the reins of her life in her own hands again.
Part 2
What a heart-breaking start. Arnav is missing that part of his soul which would be Khushi's forever. The fact that despite Khushi not being there, he had not slept in his bed for the last five months, shows that his heart and his life would forever be empty if she is not there.
His fear of turning into a monster like his father, had proved to be greater than his love for Khushi.
Part 3
Arnav has been leaving in hell and his pain is not dulled as time progresses. It grows. The way he hounds Payal every night for Khushi's news is proof of that. And his concern over her health bears witness to that as well.
And what a family both the protagonists have! Whereas Khushi's family is hell-bent to keep her protected, out of the reach of heart-breaks again, Arnav's family shows him the mirror. They are the ones being blunt, plain-spoken and determined to break his shell.
Khushi's traitorous memories, in the mean-time, have started to play hide and seek with her. I love the way you have weaved the scenes from the past here.
Brilliant, my darling...
Khushi does not want to make jalebis anymore!!!
Her world has come upside down indeed!
And the first conversation between Arnav and Khushi. I felt my heart would burst out of my chest! What magic you have created with a chirpy Khushi and a stunned into silence Arnav Singh Raizada.
Its wonderful to see ASR back to his take-charge mode.
It must have been earth shattering for the entire Raizada family to see a Khushi totally oblivious to them and to top it all, to treat her Arnavji as a total stranger. One of my entries for Love-O-Rama Pyaar Ka Trope Fest Storyline: Enemies to Lovers Setting: Crime Character/Pairing: Arnav Khushi from IPPKND...
