Baldev could not believe she had left...But she had..Once and for all..

Finally after an eternity he numbly got up..Or maybe someone helped him up..He did not notice..Nor did he care..Nothing mattered to him anymore..It was all over..It all ended before it even started.She left..

The thought itself had his heart squeezing in pain once again,as he staggered out of the airport..

A broken man..A completely shattered person,very much unlike the happy fun loving Sher of Pritampura..Very much unlike Baldev..

People stared at him as he passed by..But he was completely past caring now..His world had just left..What did it matter what happened to him now?!What did it matter if people laughed at him,or looked at him with disgust?!

It did not matter..Nothing mattered except the raw intense pain continuously gnawing and scratching at his insides..He needed to get to his jeep..And get away..

Shattered and broken he finally reached his jeep and got into it..He had to run far away..He had to try to escape his memories..

"Itti der kaha thi tu?!Tainu pata hai kabse main tera intezaar kar rahi hu yaha pe?!

[Where were you for so long?!Do you know for how long I have been waiting for you over here?!]"The soft voice stunned him,stopping him from turning the ignition..

"BALDEVA?!Tainu sunaai nahi ditta ki?!

[BALDEVA?!Can't you hear?!]"

Slowly he turned his face towards the passenger seat..And there she was..Sitting all prim and proper as if she had not just flew away to London.

A smile came on his lips at her angry look..He knelt his head back on his seat and chuckled softly to himself..

Now he knew he had turned a complete lunatic!He was already hallucinating her..!As if she was here for real!

He sighed out taking in her perfect features,and long open hair..

He did not mind being crazy as long as he could feel her close to him..

"Baldeva!Ki ho gaya tainu?!Meri koi baat ki jawab hi nai de raha tu!

[Baldeva!What happened to you?!You are not answering a single question of mine!"She sounded so offended,and the way her beautiful eyes gleamed was almost real..

He chuckled to himself again..He did not mind being crazy as long as he could see her all the time..

Hell,he was ready to stay crazy his entire life if and only he could see her like this infront of him 24/7..It did not matter if she fought with him and snap at him even in his imagination..He would be happy to see her at all..

"BALDEVA!!!"She waved her hands in front of his face,to get his attention,and he could not help smiling..

That was so typically his Veera..His Sherni..!

Without thinking any further,he turned on the ignition,changed gears and started driving..

He had a long journey ahead..But not a lonely one anymore..

He stared sideways again to ensure she had not vanished,and relaxed at seeing her sitting there..

He and his imaginary Veera had a long way to travel together..It was heavenly and awesome to be crazy in love..Crazy in his love for Veera..

He could hear her prattling on and continupisly asking questions to him..Wanting him to respond..

He just shook his head in sheer happiness and drove on..

Her voice and chatters were like sweet music to his ears..He did not mind if it was all his imagination..Atleast he could hear her..

The sky had darkened,and suddenly a storm loomed closer,as thunder flashed the sky..

"Baldeva!Drive fast!It will rain any time soon!"She urged him urgently,and went on talking endlessly..

Suddenly the jeep bumped on a hole on the road,and she held onto his thigh for support,and Baldev could not take it anymore..

He screeched the car to a hault,in a clearing by the road,and turned to face her..

She looked at him with wide confused eyes..

"Ki hoya Baldeva?Tune gaddi kiu rok di?!Kuch hua ki?!

[What happened Baldev?Why did you stop the car?!Did something happen?!]"

Baldev nodded his head in agreement,and watched her beautiful face express confusion and then fear,as the hand still on his thigh tightened its hold on his jeans shooting strange feelings through his body.

"Ki hua?!

[What happened?!]"She asked in a scared voice,and although Baldev knew it was all his imagination,he could not help but get close to her..

Breathing harshly now,he leaned closer to her,so that he could look into her eyes from up close..

"Pyaar ho gaya hai Veera..Pyaar..

[Love happened Veera..Love..]"His husky voice was followed by a loud rumble,as the sky opened up and it started raining heavily..But they were uncaring of the heavy rain soaking them both to the skin..

She stared deep into his eyes,as if hypnotised by his look as he was by hers..Their lips almost touching..

"Pyaar..?Kisko?Kis se?

[Love..?Who fell?For whom?]"She asked softly..

And Baldev lost the last vestige of his control,and suddenly pulled her hard up against his body..

Her soft startled gasp lost in the sound of pouring rain,thunder,and his words..

"Sapno mei bhi vaddi zyaada baat karti hai tu!

[You talk too much in dreams too!]"He muttered roughly just before his hard male lips closed over hers..
