i used to feel bad 4 her but not nymore as she is not doing nything to help herself - she could try being a good bahu and still keep her and her familys respect but she doesnt

yeah, director wants to show that how sanskari she is but timidly accepting bad words for long time is also not justified, one should have ability to oppose wrong deeds, and it does not mean to fight or shout always, u can even oppose silently.
