THE FOUR DAYS

Finally, We've passed it!

We've overcome the difficult path!

Yes, Day one is over!

It'd be much easier from here!

We can Walk easily, run enthusiastically, smile, sing, even dance!

Since we've entered into -

DAY-2!

Chapter-7:

Day-2:

Wee Hours:

Arjun came out of the house for doing jogging, he locked the outer door and descended the steps. He started doing some stretching exercises in the small garden inside the compound. Then he started jogging towards the beach through deserted streets. He indulged in the silence as he moved forward, leisurely. He utilized the mentation of ease to schedule the day ahead as always.

On the thought that this would be one of those days while sweet Sakshi would not be around, ever since she set foot in his life, made his heart lighten. For a start, there would be no Good Morning Arjun!', there would be no caustic drawls, no frittering moments, no adding fuel to the fire...

Being said that, she was reacting against the grain these days, as a matter of fact!

She was trying to take sides with him or was quiet for hours, strangely...

One minute she was seething and was lukewarm the next...

One moment she was trying to prove something, proving I care a jot for you the next...

Like a magnet, she had two different poles in her, but unlike a magnet, they were tossing her from one point to another, without stopping!

Right! There would be two full days still to consider!

As he was gridding his loins, his mobile vaunted that it had received a message.

Sakshi!

I'm going to kill you for land's sake...'

He swore as he snatched it resolutely.

He could not understand the verse.

The message had come from a number that was quite new to him.

He read it again.

She is with me. Stop me if you can.'

That was when he remembered me.

I pulled up the bike at the wayward and removed the thing from my pocket that insisted unclasping.

"Shree! I got this number now."

"And the number is?"

"98********."

"It'll take a while sir. I'm on my way to the office."

"What are you thinking about now?"

Chottu asked from his seat.

We were in the conference room.

"I'm working!" I responded without looking up.

"Ask me!" he emphasized.

"Right! What are you thinking about now?" I obeyed.

"That what Sakshi must be doing now. I called in to see her on my way to the office. But she was out, and I saw milk pocket and newspaper on her doorsteps. Her phone's switched off."

He filled me in.

"Must have forgotten to put it on charger."

"May be, she went to visit her Dhi straight!"

"May Be!" I nodded.

"Shree! Got anything?" Arjun entered in.

"In a minute sir!"

"This is the message I got" he passed his mobile to me.

I read it and said, "What?"

"That is what we've to see!"

"In a minute we can make a call to this number sir!"

Chottu raised an eyebrow and I filled him in on cue.

While he read the message, I checked my GPS monitor and noted something and said excitedly," We hit pay dirt, sir!"

"What's it?"

"Our fellow is making his way towards the airport!"

Arjun gave a low whistle.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes sir, maybe he is traveling in a car."

"Sir may be this is not true, I mean, wrongly forwarded!"

"No Chottu! See that text. It shows the cunningness of the sender. It is pointing a finger towards the person receiving it. And it hadn't been sent to anyone, but me. Anyway I hope it may worth a ride, guys!"

While we reached the foyer, Ayesha encountered on her way in.
