jalal was captured by askari and one more brother of humayun
and humayun and hamida decide to go to persia king for army ask help to release son
they were not wrong if humayun would have surendered he and his children(bakshi and one more sis was also captured with jalal) would have been killed end of their storyyy
And they had to go through desert to reach persia from kabul they cannot take 6 month baby jalal with them he cannot surivive those harsh conditions. I think humayun did right to save his family. And remember hamida was a 15 year old child when she gave birth to jalal not some 25-30 year old woman
and humayun was a gentleman(like 21st century types) not like other mughal emperors he never punish his brothers(step brothers that too) despite they betray him so much even against enemy sher shah suri. Even his enemies praised him for his goodness.
I think what humayun did was right what gaurantee he and hamida live till they reach persia no gaurantee atleast let jalal live atleast he is alive somewhere. They both were not selfish in their child's love to risk his life thru harsh desert.
But bairam khan was not with jalal at that time he came with humayun with persian army to rescue jalal from kabul fort. And later on jalal was with his parents only after rescue do not know why they show like till jalal is big he was never with family. From age of 2 or 3 he was back with humayun and mom hamida, that is when he met bairam khan. its not like hamida totally abondoned him. She came back to his life at age of 2 or 3 years max still maham has such hold on him very crafty lady must say
It was easy for maham to control jalal because like i said hamida was a child mother herself she was 14 or 15 when she gave birth to him. She could not understand maham's crafty ways. I am sure maham was 5-10 years elder to hamida because she had other children before adham khan. So now we can understand why she controlled jalal, hamida is a child bride and mother very innocent, did not have parental guidance she had no mother or mother-in-law to help her out with family and teach her life lessons, maham took advantage of that fact. In one book i read hindal mirza went into kabul fort and rescued jalal and his siblings, adham and maham at dead night after jalal was tied to fort to stop attack. So maham cannot take credit for saving jalal actually it was hindal mirza who risked his life and limb to save them all.
If maham really love jalal so much like son why kill his unborn children? Always own child love is much more than another child's. Maham love jalal but not more than adham and can even kill jalal and his children to make adham king. Jalal was attcked twice by maham body gaurds to kill him in history. I had posted the details you can google it. So its not like maham never attempted on jalal life- i do not understand why they not show these scenes on jalal life. Once he was 20 year old just after marrying jodh he was attacked in delhi by maham gaurd as he was going to nizammudin auliya. But akbar did not alow further investigation on who ordered the attempt on his life.
The real akbar was not completely blind, he knew about the truth of maham and adham not like serial jalal complete blind faith. Yes but of gratitude he forgave twice but took action on adham when he killed atagah khan.
And real akbar loved and respected his mom hamida a lot. He understood his parents condition very well and never kept grudge on them like serial akbar. Real akbar was a very mature person from young age not like serial akbar who appears child like and esaily led by others.
