First of all, a very happy Valentine's day to all you beautiful people out there. I hope this Valentine's day brings you closer to all your loved ones and you make beautiful memories with each one of them.
I guess this Valentine's day is a bit more special for all us Qubool hai fanatics... After all, our beloved Asad and Zoya are getting married to each other. So on this occasion I want to make a post for them and their love.
I personally love Asad and Zoya as a couple, not just because they fought against all odds to be standing where they are right now, but also because of the fact that they came together despite being the kind of people that they are. Here's why.
Asad Ahmed Khan is the most difficult man you will ever meet. He is arrogant, too prejudiced for a man of his age. He is a male chauvinistic pig and has beliefs that belong to the 17th century. One cannot imagine him saying a kind word to a modern woman, let alone charm one. He has OCD and takes it upon himself to teach people how to live. But underneath all that is a little boy who fears being rejected, like he was rejected by his father. He is so scared of a heartbreak that he built walls all around his heart so that nobody can even see it, let alone touch it. But Allah had different plans. Asad Ahmed Khan met a woman, a woman named Zoya Farooqui. She was the most exasperating, annoying woman he ever came across. She was a "Musibat Magnet", who came to his house as his ammi's guest. An unwanted guest, according to him. But what he didn't realise that she was slowly breaking all those walls, so tenderly that he realized only when she had broken all of the layers, only the last few bricks remained, initially he was scared, of her hurting him, of her being a misfit for him and his family, so he decided to push her away and started rebuilding the walls but she proved to him that she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever met, beautiful inside out. As soon as she started breaking in again, a new and much more terrorizing fear developed, the fear of him being the misfit, of him being undeserving of her love,of him hurting her and he couldn't, wouldn't let that happen. She deserved better, she deserved the very best and he wasn't even close. But what he didn't realise was that she had already marked herself as his and only his. She loved him and he was scared that her love for him was something that would only give her pain, so he started pushing her away with all his might. Only to realise that he couldn't watch her leaving him. And that was the moment he, Asad Ahmed Khan surrendered his heart to Zoya Farooqui. He gave her his heart on a silver platter and let her decide what she wishes to do with it and to his greatest pleasure, she accepted it as her most priced possession and gave him her heart in return. And today, on the day of love, he was going to make her his, and let her make him hers so they could be together, like its meant to be...
The two people who couldn't stand being with each other, are now at a point where life without each other seems to be meaningless. They don't love each other because they are perfect, but because they are imperfect, yet perfect fits for each other. Isn't that what love is all about... Acceptance... Understanding... And above all completing one another by just being yourself...
So here's wishing my favorite jodi a happy married life... May you have the brightest future...
