Hmm thats what i thought initially...but some one here cleared that...but even if that is true...All these rituals and traditions are in place to conduct a wedding legally...but all this means nothing if the bride and groom dont accept each other as husband and wife..it all depends on ones belief..

So it really depends on what Paro believes?...She believes she is married to varun...she has accepted Varun as her legally wedded husband...in front of everyone that she loves and cares...so as far as she is concerned ...she is married...Now even if Rudra proves that the marriage to be fake...it will take a lot for Paro to denounce her husband

But all the marriage rituals still took place, they walked around the fire seven times and all the rest. So she was his wife and now she's Varun's widow, since Rudra killed her.

As far as we know, Varun is of the same religion, although he's from "sarhad ke uss paar".

But my question is, that is that if a non-Hindu guy marries a Hindu girl, with all the rituals, is the marriage still valid and vice versa?

Yeah from my experience of watching soaps...especially the love hate love ones they will have a scenario where one is almost trusting the other and then something happens and they go back to square 1! Except of course that this time doubts will arise on their own convictions!

For sure thakurain will set the ball rolling...in fact I wonder whose man that was who was looking for paro!

As for Rudra trusting her,,,well..I am totally confused on one thing..have seen many posts saying he knows deep down that she is innocent and she is the only one who has cause to hate him because he killed her husband! But somehow I feel he also has a valid reason to not believe her because she refuses to go back to her own village and keeps reiterating that they are innocent! What is the proof? I don't think he believes she is involved personally...that's a shift in the story...now he is trying to convince her of thakurs misdeeds seems like! He wants her to acknowledge that she was the bride that day so that he can then proceed to show the marriage racket...!

She refuses to go back because she knows he intends to arrest her mami...but he also knows she cant go back there 1) coz thakur is looking for her 2) Coz the villagers have publicly disowned her.

He was the witness to both. He knows she is not the one smuggling...but feels she knows the people who are involved in the smuggling racket...He feels she is protecting them ...so it makes her an accomplice in his book. But he wants her to believe him...that the people she is protecting are not worthy of her loyalty...thats why he is trying to convince her of thakurs misdeeds...he wants her to start hating thakur and then she would stop protecting them and give him the information that he seeks

But if he thinks she knows and is denying then why would he talk about her sister and try to convince her? Currentky he is only trying to get her to see thakurs evil side...somehow he has gone from suspect to witness in the time she has been with him!
