Rudra would still have tended her feet injury if she would have been awake only difference was it would not have been in the tender way shown.
Rudra is a protector. He unleashes his fury only against injustice. He never has referred Paro as criminal. He refers her only as a witness. He thinks Paro is trying to protect her village and thats why he gets angry with her. But definitely not hate her.
He has a different way of showing his love. It can be seen in his interactions with dad. When he does fall in love with Paro, we will probably get to see the same rough nature. He will never be like the smooth talking and overly sweet lover boy.
The only problem I think was the song did not match the situation.
