Rishi Bhrigu is also manas putra of Brahma and how come he marries his own brothers daughter and when Brahmas head gets chopped of by Shiv why doesn't he react like Daksh?
Also Shivji does not even give a chance or ask Brahma who is equilateral to him why he was doing Ved ninda? Can he just at his whim nick another Equals head without a proper explanation..how can God be so unreasonable and that Brahma is not some raksha. This part of the episode bothers me ...
Rishi Kashyap also marries his fathers brothers daughter..all in the family same Gothras or may they did not exist then but Prasuthi is Manus daughter and Manu was the one who wrote code of conduct. Can someone please explain..

Since they are all manas putras, the rules applicable to biological births do not apply to them.

In any case, the entire creation sprung from Brahma- so in the first level of creation, everyone is bound to be related some way or other.

remember they are manasputra not real putra.

it means that there may be age difference between them. u know one of my grand uncle is just 3 years older to my dad.

so these situations do exist.

then u will say how sati can marry mahadev. since sati is granddaughter of brahma and brahma and mahadev are equals.

we need to keep in mind in satyayuga people are assumed to live for several thousand/lakh years. bhrigu-khyati marriage is not at all surprising since they are mind born children of brahma not his own kids.

but its written in wiki that bhrigu is mind born son of brahmna i.e. manasputra.
anyways i always read info on net and not actual puranas. so im not really sure.
but wiki generally has correct info.
