WARNING : Looong post, read only if u have nothing better to do 😆
I shall finish my rant nonetheless :P

All the ridiculous things in 2day's episode and the story in general.

1. A middle-aged woman with 2 married sons and 3 grandchildren plotting against her DIL and trying to make her son divorce her because the DIL is poor. I mean REALLY ? Isn't that a little immature ? I was expecting her to be grey. But what on earth is this nonsense? She has no strong reason to hate Aaliya so much!! Does she not even have heart? She knows very well that Ghulam had a heart attack and Aaliya's Nikaah broke. Normally, you would see even the WORST of MILs in such high class well to do families TRY to be nice to their DIL and have minor disagreements in between..that DIL may never be a favorite but this cheap accusing business wouldn't be happening in the kind of family they r trying to portray.

2.Nafisa- The sister of a London return and the eldest DIL of a famous and respectable business tycoon only knows how to assist her MIL in trying to insult Aaliya. Oh and this is the same MIL who keeps her "sautan" in the same house as her.Nafisa has issues with it but she thinks it's still SO enjoyable to make an innocent girl get arrested on her MIL's suggestions. WOW. She is one crazy woman.

3. Usmaan had to tell the cop that he'll talk later. Couldn't he tell the cop how self-respecting Aaliya's family is & ask him not 2 treat his family members with disrecpect without having SEEN that Aaliya took the watch ?

4. The biggest loophole is that Zain himself said YES for the Nikaah & is now creating all this drama. If he hated Aaliya SO much to insult her so badly, why did he say yes ? He could've escaped the Nikaah in many ways and confronted aaliya abt why she said yes to her Dad. Why did he tell his Phuppu that he will take care of Aaliya ? If he did it for Ghulam then where is his concern for Ghulam now? All these questions r taking away so much from the credibility of the story for me atleast.

I ignored all the other bloopers of Aaliya-Zain never having seen each other in the age of videochatting and not being able to recognize each other from childhood...Aaliya being extra shy at their first palace scene and running off after saying that silly " YES"...the costume at Aaliya's engagement and Shazias dress at the Vlaima etc etc, but I am not understanding anything anymore after the Nikaah.

Hope BI gets better for me. I loved the precap though, brilliant writing and direction. Just brilliant. Loved the scene where Aaliya draws inspiration from her holy book & the sentence translated into english..something along the lines of " Every couple has a different guide book for a succesful marriage and they have to write it for themselves" SPLENDID!! 👏 After Madhubala, this is the other show on Colors with dialogues that stick with you!

I do some what agree with you! As far as suraiya, I think she just doesn't like Aaliyah. But that house has too many negative women! I wish at least one of the bhabis was shown positive!

Bold- Exactly!! I wasn't expecting all of them to team up against Aaliya. I genuinely thought Nafisa will show her mark of being educated and froma good family as she looks to be, but getting her arrested is SO disguisting. I can't believe such people can ever exist.

Aaliya has done nothing wrong and suraiya doesn't even have anything against her either. She doesn't like Aaliya coz she's married to her son and so on. Also noticed how she's not nice to Shabana either :( she's gonna know her place one day. Wish Nafeesa was more understanding she should do something coz Shazia wants to bring her sister into he Hosie too. I know she can't stand them haha

Haha ! What do you expect from an Indian drama ?

Their plotting never ends. This kind of stuff doesn't even happen in reality.

This whole plotting and never getting caught crap will keep on dragging for a while.

I'm not really watching this show anymore. But whenever I sit down with my mom, I can see where they are headed. It's pretty predictable.

I feel like they needed more time to develop the story and close the loopholes...They made a great attempt, but a half-baked one. I was impressed at first, but they proved that "different" stories can never survive on Indian TV.

Yeah, after seeing the Valima drama, I'm really hoping that I can get myself to detach from the show because that scene was indicative of what else they can show. scary lol.

I know! I felt like punching em all in the face when I saw them smirking! They feel no guilt for what they're putting her through! What satisfaction do they get from torturing another!!

sorry lol they were really making mad with the smiles on their faces.

The more the heroine cries and insulted, the more trps.

I think aaliya must have removed Zain's shoes, wiped them with her pallu. She should have sung a lullaby for the baby too.

Today I was a bit disappointed with Usman. He should have been more supportive.

If Zain hates her so much, aaliya must release him. Remember B.R.Chopra's Nikaah? Where the bold Salma Agha divorces and remarries.

A woman's self respect is more important than pleasing her old fashioned parents and saving them from death.

Me too. Jokes apart, I feel like it takes a LOT for someone to become as disguisting as the Trio of Suraiya,, Shazia and Nafisa. I honestly feel like if people like them really exist then they need psychiatric help . lol Naah, it's okay, I was really mad at them too so made the post.

@bold sentences - LOL That made me laugh 😆 Dry humor hunh ? hahah!!

It was pretty selfish of Aaliya to expect Zain to sacrifice for her Dad...I mean it's not like her Dad would pass away then and there if he heard a NO from Zain & Aaliya...Yeah..he would have a difficult time recovering, but I don't think any Dad in the world would straight away die. Then Zain was also stupid to say Yes for the wedding and then taking revenge and asking for divorce. I don't see the logic in saying yes if he had to eventually divorce her.

They copied the drama Humsafar with the whole " I am being forced into someone's life" dialogue by Aaliya, but there the girl actually had self-respect and was REALLY forced into the guy's life by their parents. Here Aaliya pretty much walked in herself for her own reasons and expected him to play along.

Now that her mission is to work on the marriage, they have successfully messed up the " love story:. Zain won't fall in love with her because of who she is or what she is but because she will work extra hard and create situations that force him to start loving her and accept the Nikaah.
I haven't seen Nikaah, but yes, self-respect is important to show especially after people accuse you of theft . I am SO pissed of, I really wanted to be able to enjoy this show, but the love story that I was waiting for has lost its charm before starting. Thanks for the reply! 😊
