Everyone has their own pov. Puranas & other scriptures have been a source to know this stories for many of us including the makers. So it's obvious to mention about Puranas, as viewers can connect to them faster. Atleast I connect to what is known to me faster. Even if fiction has elements of Scriptures, it's always appreciated. But the bottom line is, following a source is a must.

Hmm... then why always the Puranas cutshort from Sati to Parvati?
It would be more interesting to show all those forms. More stories, more happy, more yay.

but still you know, those were human skulls...from all that has been shown, sati & parvati were the only human forms of adishakti who married shiva...of which sati died & parvati is immortal...so ideally, there should've been only one skull, na...😕

@rinal, a Kalpa has 14 Manvantars Each Manvantar has 72 Maha-yugas. Each Maha-yuga has 4 yogas- Sat, treta, Dwapar & Kali. In every Kalpa's every Manvantar, this story gets repeated.
These skulls are actually unfulfilled wishes of Sati, as it was shown in that cave track in past. That's why with each skull, Lakulesh was seeing a scene connected with Mahadev & Sati.

well ideally, even mahrishi dadhichi should be brought back... after all, he was pivotal in bringing sati & shiva & even parvati & shiva together... besides, i've always found him fascinatingly intriguing... 😉

i am sure tht they indeed follow a source.. because even if you are adding stuffs or fictionalising, u need to have a base story upon which you cn work.. and even the past tracks hv proved tht even though a fiction, they never really deviated frm the Scriptures.

Superb post Minaxi.
Though we might have our favorite actors and phases in the show have to admit the show has always kept that interest alive in some form or other even when it has moved from those phases.

In the recent past the show was stagnating a little and like a breath of fresh air this track has come in. Your perspectives have given it a more clearer picture and am looking forward to watching this show with renewed vigor.

I am looking forward to seeing this track from perspective of Shiva now where it was perspective of Sati earlier and I think this time it will be even more exhilarating than the past. 👍🏼

P.S: Mohit took my breath away in the precap looking forward to tonight's epi and I would love to even see Parvati's story retold like u mentioned in your post. 😃

@anu, as on now things are looking quite promising. Would love to see Daksh doing penance, getting the boon of Devi will be born as his daughter. How Brhmaji created his Manas putras etc. All those details if they cover will be excellent.
Bhandasur & Lalita-Tripursundari's story will be excellent too. Hope they implement this too.
