Nazea always wanted to be a part of Mahabharat
Nazea Hasan Sayed is the latest entrant to play Karna's wife Vrushali in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Mahabharat.
Nazea, who was last seen in Punar Vivah, is ecstatic to bag the opportunity. "I always wanted to be a part of Mahabharat and I just got lucky. I am so glad they selected me right after the look test. I completely relate to the character. She is pure hearted just like me and speaks her mind. It's great to work with so many wonderful performers. My producer has left no stone unturned in making the show. The casting has been superb. People of all age group watch the show with families, which is really an advantage," says Nazea.

Incidentally, she is very friendly with her onscreen mother- in- law Kunti played by Shafaq Naaz. For both Shafaq and Nazea, who are bonding big time on the sets, the chance to share screen space is like a cherry on the cake. "I have known Shafaq from a long time. It is ironical that she is playing my mother- in- law. At times, it gets difficult for me to keep a straight face while shooting with her as we keep pulling each other's leg all the time," Nazea says.
