PC gets mom's style

Priyanka Chopra has revealed that her traditional look in Gunday has been inspired by her mom's.
The actress said that director Ali Abbas Zafar tried many looks for her character, but finally got what he wanted when he saw an image of PeeCee's mom from her younger days.

PeeCee showed Ali images of her mom dressed in simple saris with her hair worn down (with a slight curl) and a bindi, and he realised that was just the look he wanted for his leading lady as well. The look was elegant, classy and a throwback to a different era.
Needless to say, PeeCee enjoyed this opportunity to dress like her mother. "I have fond memories of my mother getting ready and heading to work. To me, she looked impeccably beautiful every single time. That was a huge inspiration when we put the traditional look for Gunday together," the actress said.
