Narayani Shastri and Gaurav Chopra are set to feature in Meet Brothers' music video

Narayani Shastri and Gaurav Chopra are putting on their dancing shoes again after Nach Baliye 2. This time around they are doing a music video based on a sufiana song sung by The Meet Brothers and directed by Jagrat Desai. The couple will shoot for the romantic video in Pondicherry for an album that is to be released in May. The music video will revolve around a short story and choreographed using salsa motifs.

Narayani is excited to shoot in Pondicherry along with beau Gaurav for three days at a stretch. "I liked the concept and the song. It's very different from the kind of music videos we has seen so far. Besides, I will be fully dressed. It will be shot aesthetically and will be very contemporary in its style. It will be a good amalgamation of performance and dance. I can surely watch the video with my family around. After Nach Baliye 2, people can watch us together in a unique, brand-new avatar. The music video will have hints of Rajshree and Yash Chopra kind of a look," points out Narayani who will be donning Western clothing for the shoot.

So what prompted the couple to accept a music video. Isn't it a bit down market for them? "There was no reason to say no to this video. It has soulful music and is definitely not the run-of-the-mill remix video. We are actors who are getting a lot of scope to perform in the music video and will not be mere models in the video. The video has its emotional and romantic moments," says Gaurav who has worked in three music videos in the past.

Incidentally 16 April, the day they start shooting is also Narayani's birthday. Adds Gaurav, "Despite the hectic schedule, you never know what surprise I plan for Narayani in Pondicherry." Well, don't overeat the birthday cake. You guys don't want to look overweight whilst shooting.
