We have not found out the reason Sameer (the husband) wanted to kill Shikha(the wife) yet. The top theory is so that Sameer can have an heir, which his first wife could not produce, so he marries Shikha, has a child with her, and takes the baby back to live with him and his first wife. Watch all the episodes online/ read the updates if you have time. It's been quite interesting up until now! That way you will better understand what is happening.
