CHAPTER 20
Kriya came inside the room to find others crowding around Rey who was still having problem due to the coughing sessions. Rey was lying in bed clutching his stomach... Sharon was sitting beside him helpless,Swayam was standing beside her and others too around the bed ,looking down at Rey as if he was going to die... Kriya was fuming in anger as she wheeled forward...hearing the sound everyone except Rey turned around and when they saw Kriya, they returned to their beds...Kriya went to Rey and glared at him but Rey ignored her... Rey felt her keeping something cold on the place were Taani punched him...he raised his head to see what it was...
Rey: kya hain yeh??
Kriya: ice bag...
It felt good and groaning in satisfaction he laid back...
Vicky: kya punch tha yaar...
Nil: really...i just heard the sounds...patak,patak,teeeyii
Both of them giggled and were about to hi-fi each other but stopped seeing Rey scowling at him...
Kriya: she is really hurt by your deeds...sharam aana chahiye aapko...bachhon ko use karna...disgusting...
She left after saying few more and advising them to be friends with children...
Sharon: in my dreams...especially with that Jo...
Swayam: chill Sharon...tomorrow we won't be here...
Rey: guys...good night...really...khoo,khoo..
Simmi:its ok..Rey...you sleep...
Rey ,coughing ,turned otherside...he closed his eyes and imagined Taani punching him...he remembered her telling him once 'its a closed chapter for me,Rey'...Rey smiled with closed eyes...
'Taani,I saw tears and regret in your eyes ...if it was a closed chapter...then it wouldn't have been there...those tears...you still love me ,Taani' thought Rey...his smile widened and slowly drifted off...
NEXT DAY:
5:39pm...
As usual the children were making noise and on top of that ,they all were excited to welcome their mamus and mamis...
Neha:(irritated)roz nayee nayee nautanki...ufff
Amar:not for long...guys,(lowering his voice)just half an hour left...how to distract them(he said it pointing at Taani and Kriya)
Rinni: should we do it...(everyone looked at her with eyebrows raised)i mean...i'm getting a bad feeling about...
Nil:watever be it...now,no backing out...
Vicky:what will we do now...
Taani:(shouting)Jo store room ke chaabi lekar aa...
Jo:ji...
Bharath:how much time we require...
Rey:15mins ...minimum...
Bharath: done... Vicky come with me
Rey:where are you going...
Bharath: you guys be ready...we will be back in 2mins...
They went behind Jo to the store...they saw store's keys on the lock...
Jo:kitna dusty hain yeh room...
Next moment she felt someone pushing her...before she could do anything the door was shut...Outside the door,Bharath locked the store and put the keys in pocket ,Vicky grinned at him
Vicky: great yaar...
They heard Jo thrashing on the door...
Jo: mumma...MUMMA...
Jo was really scared and was screaming,but her sound was muffled by the loud music playing downstairs...
Bharath: jaldi chalthe hain...
They went downstairs and nodded their head at Rey who was standing at the door...Vicky went to the music player and fell over it...music stopped... Children glared at him as they knew he did it purpously... Before they could say anything,they heard something...
Jo:MUMMA...MUMMA...MUMMA,
DARWAZZA kholo...MUMMA...
Taani stood there shocked for a moment but ran to store followed by children...Mithoon wheeled Kriya...
As soon as they left, gang ran out and got in the car parked outside the gates...
Neha: wohooo...
Vicky: finally...
Amar: we are free now...yehhh
Rey: Bharath tune kya kiya...Jo kyun chilla rahi thi...
Bharath grinned and took out the store's key and showed them...
Swayam: that was just brilliant ...
Rey didnot reply anything... Even after being free he was not able to enjoy the moment...he wanted to go back...to Taani...but he shrugged off those thoughts...Rey glanced at his watch...it was 6:59 pm...he looked out,it was getting dark...
Rey:(to driver)hum jaa kahan rahe hain...
Driver:poojari saab ke paas...ve aap loggon ke intezaar kar rahe hain..nn
Rey found it weird...why can't they just go to Kundra... Suddenly the car came to a halt... Gang stepped out...they were brought to a cliff top...
Sharon:(surprised)why are we brought here...and who are they...
It was then others noticed the people there... There were two cars and on the bonnet of red SUV, someone was lying...on the either side stood 7 people who looked like goons...
One goon: saab...
Poojari:aa gaye kya...
Goon: ji...
Poojari lifted his head...he slowly slid down and walked briskly to Swayam...
Pojaari: namaste ,i'm poojari...
Poojari was extremely handsome guy,around 30...he was wearing a black kurta and blue jeans with a long rudraksh around his neck and his hair was tied into a pony tail but some strands were falling on his face...Swayam hesitated for a moment but then shook hands with him...
Poojari:(smiling)arre aap log itne tensed kyun hain...relax guys...
Rey:why are we here... I thought we would be taken to Mr.Kundra...
Poojari:itni bhi jaldi jya hain...ek minute...
He took his phone out and dialed a number and puts it in loudspeaker...
Gang were surprised to hear Taani other side...
Taani; hello...
Poojari: (huskily)sweetheart...kaisi ho...
Taani didn't speak for a few second ...
Poojari: sweetheart,zara bahar aa na...
They heard Kriya's voice asking her where she was going...
Poojari smiles looking at them...he winkes at Rey...
Taani: poojari
Poojari:(closing his eyes)hayeee...kitna pyaara lagta hain mera naam tumhare muhse...
Taani:(gritting her teeth)are they with you...
Poojari:yep...safe and sound if you come here in 30 mins...
Taani:unhe kuch nahi hona chahiye...
Poojari:tum jaldi aao...jahan hum aakhri baar mille the...
Taani cuts the call... Poojari kisses his phone... Here with gang, they were too numb to react...
Rey:hey,Mr...whats going on...
Poojari:(still smiling)you all are Taani's friends...
Gang didn't reply...
Rinni:yes...we are her friends...
Poojari: bhagawan kare ese friends dushman ko bhi na mile...
Swayam: what is this nonsense...
Amar: why are you not taking us to Mr Kundra...
Poojari:lets wait for Taani...she must be on the way...
